ha, great story of a formerly "essential" part of bdo. the box to tick to avoid boarding boats/ships didn't exist up until 2022, i think, and some "funny" players deliberately obducted afk-fishers just to leave them somewhere far out in the ocean as a "joke". lucky you only dealt with an npc going back to velia. happy fishing! o/

The beauty of what happened here is you also got bonus of abundant fish (Velia is exhausted all the time), plus you got the extra silver from trade distance :D
