Hey, double post. I am a ranger lifeskiller so petals are allday. If you want petals, do life skill like gathers, but it's very underrated to farm trash mobs as well. My 'game theory' is just overwhelm the loot table, and it works well when there aren't event items. Go on arsha and just kill mobs that you can obliterate. Gathering probably the highest yield, though, because I have always had petals and that's the only thing I have always done. I didn't start farming trash mobs hard until I started trying to skill up my guild(s.)

You only need 2 pedals, it takes roughly 50m to sprout a T1 to T2, 200m to sprout a T2 to T3, and 500m to sprout a T3 to T4, then another 1b to level the fairy up to level 50, but you don't have to go all the way to 50, because you can instantly release the fairy if it gets a bad skill at level 10, 20, 30, or 40 before it gets to 50 because 40-50 is the expensive tier.

To add to this, hence every youtube recommends to start rolling skills using orbs at level 10 and then 20. Most important ones are Miraculous Cheer V at 10 and then Feather Steps V at 20. I got both for 4 orbs in total. Still got 8 orbs left from the event which I assume will get rinsed at 30 to get either Fairy's tear 4/5 or  Continuous Care 3/4. The difficulty is that with every skill, orb consumption goes up so at 30 - it takes 3 orbs to roll one skill, hence at 10 its best to get the Miraculous Cheer V as its the most useful one and the cost is 1 orb per roll.

The fairy as a whole was a huge disappointment for me on release. When she came out I was genuinely excited about the feature. “Oh a voice acted companion who will follow me around?! Cool, sounds fun.”

Bdo very quickly set me straight and I realized it was just another piece of "gear" you had to RNG your way through. And after it took me ages to finally get a Radiant it ended up with the personality I hated the most. And no I'm not going to spend $10 for a CHANCE at the personality I did want. That's ridiculous.

Haven't cared about the fairy ever since. Turned it off so I didn't have to see it or hear it, and lvl'd it up without even thinking about what it would get because I just wanted it over and done with by that point so I never had to think about it again. She ended up with Miraculous Cheer V, which further makes me not want to delete her and start over, even though she never ended up with the skill I did actually want like Feather Step. She is already level 50 and I don't want it enough to mess with the awful fairy system further anyway. However...

Having a 2nd fairy honestly should have been implemented by now. Though it won't make much of a difference for me personally, someone who downright hates the fairy and the way it was implemented in the first place. It will be beneficial to others who still care about it and would like another chance at a good fairy without resetting their existing one.

So I took all the advice and I tried to F2P my fairy. Out of the fairy wings I had saved since october, I got 5 brilliants. Best I had was MC5 on the second one and then rolled CC1 and instead of being locked out of a better CC (the whole reason I was rerolling in first place to get 3 or higher for node wars) the next three were pretty much duds. But I am out of fairies so I ended up with CC4 Well V Fairies tear 1, feathery steps V, tingling breath IV. I spent about 4 bill in honeywine and 12 Ornettes wine I had been saving for a while. 

So now I have to relearn how to play with no Miraculous cheer. Or well maybe not PVE for a while IDK. Might just fish for a few weeks afk because yeah this was brutal. 

Thanks for all your input and feedback. I was guessing some would shame and talk about how easy it was, and some would agree, and that is the consensus. Deliberate P2W feature. I know it isn't the most important thing, I never said it was. I just said as things are being revisited and reformed to help people get into a dying game, that maybe this is something they could look at. Might be as simple as just not releasing your current fairy. Maybe adding the orbs in game as craftables. 

It's pretty important. Like I said taking the L is so much worse than anything else if you are not going to spend money. You're never gonna get orbs like that and rerolling is like playing that game where there is one blank space and you have to push everything around to make a picture. Best to just stock n roll. Go for t4!

But yea for us realistist just getting the skills you want at like 3-ish is enough haha. Those are the people who are most susceptible to p2w tho, obv.

Your fairy is ripe for rerolling, too. haha. When you don't have the skill you want, and you already have 2 bad skills, it's more likely you will get it. Good luck anyway. Gratz on the V tho. But no MC is brutal.

You don't need brilliant or radient to get a T4 fairy, you can do it with a T1 or T2, in fact it's not very expensive to upgrade either.  If you are out of silver, then you could have a problem.
