Cap the in game fps to 60, 75 or whatever. Lock it so users can't bypass it. Implement FSR3 with Fluid motion frames. That way the user can enable it to get fps over the cap despite the game engine fps being locked to specific amount.

Regrettably, both the game and its engine show signs of age. The current development team operates with minimal resources, primarily focusing on cosmetic updates rather than addressing longstanding issues that detract from the gaming experience. Their primary focus appears to be on sustaining the cash shop rather than implementing substantial improvements or fixes.

Last time they tried something like that, if my memory is right, they broke many interactions and reversed the changes. 

The developers tested an FPS cap and it resulted in the game becoming unplayable as it broke almost every interaction.

Frame Generation isn't an acceptable solution as it comes with noticeably high input latency. Combine that with a natively locked frame rate will result in even more input latency.

60 seems low for 2024, but just because they failed in the past doesn't mean I can't be done. Dev team seems very capable. 

It's a real shame that to get "the most" out of your character's capabilities you need to play the game in a mode where it looks terrible, even on a good system. I agree wiith op that this shouldn't be a thing.

I really doubt any player would disagree with that, if we're not forced to degrade the visual quality for the sake of efficiency, that's obviously better.

Still waiting for the dev team to solve it, though.
