For my T4 he still has the appearance change he always had, which I'm grateful for. For me, this is the best case scenario. He's exactly the same as he always was, just a T6 now instead of a T4. I'm pretty happy about this...

But I do understand a lot of people are probably really upset. If they had multiple low tiers (or hell even one) being told they have to spend money to resolve the issue is going to be frustrating. Of course the option is there... but it's almost like rewarding PA for creating this issue in the first place. It sucks x.x I'm relieved for myself but feel bad for those who are very potentially disgusted by this entire thing.

There is one thing though (or 2)... when I click him he doesn't appear visibly while in the stable.

As if he's just a ghost of his former self... (Sorry if that sounds dramatic...) This also means that if I DID want to change his appearance I can't visibly see an example of him changing as he just doesn't "exist" on screen. Had no plans to do that though anyway. I'm also not able to pet him with F9 (if this is also a case of the conversion it's an issue I can live with, I'm still just glad I got to keep him in general). As far as I can tell these are the only issues I've seen for myself.

This is a "compromise" (if its even consider one to some) that I personally can move on content with. But for many others it may have been the same as losing their low tiers entirely if there is no way they'd be able to change them all back without dropping a lot of money they originally didn't have to spend.

Upgraded the low tiers into a t6...an ugly t6 so we have to buy coupons to get it to look how it was originally. Whereas if you just left it alone...but no you saw profit in it...because of course you did....well played indeed.

all my tier 1-5 that i kept because of their looks. i can delete them all now!

i want my old horses back. i don't want a tier 6! i hate tier 6 horses. i can't stand them. i'd rather run around with a tier 3 or a donkey if i don't have to see a tier 6.

i'm not going to spend money on looks just because they're now ugly black horses that are on every corner. BDO is no fun for me anymore!!!

seit 2018 spiele ich das nun schon und jetzt wird mein erstes pony, was ich von BDO bekam, in ein scheiß t6 schwarz geändert. nein, so habe ich keine lust mehr das game zu spielen oder pferde noch zu trainieren. t6-t10 ist ein witz. wo ist da die herausforderung, wozu brauch ich noch ein pferd? es gibt brunnen, löscht doch gleich alle pferde oder das ganze spiel, mit all den änderungen ist es schon lange nicht mehr BDO, sondern ein anderes game.

das aussehen ändern nichts daran, denn es ist ein T6. kein T3 oder T2. die spielweise ist anderes. aslo ändert es nichts an der tatsache die farbe zu ändern! t6 ist von haus aus ein mieses pferd!

There were nice looking t6 horses they could have chosen from (either of the chestnut and white paints or the blood bay and white). But no, they had to give us the ugliest model available. I guess I should be happy it's not green (same model though, just a faded black varient). Same horrible and visible neckseam and ugly mane & tail. Pearl Abyss at their finest...they changed their minds at the last minute... for profit. Not out of the kindness of their hearts, or because they listened to the players for once. They're making money off of sentimentality. If you want your horse to look the way it was, you have to pay for it. Classic Pearl Abyss.

Yep, well said. It sucks. They keep taking things away, things that weren't hurting the game. I mean really what did it hurt having t1-15? Flooding the market? Easy, make it so you can't put lower tiers on the market. Done. Because people were leveling them quicker than t6-t8? Well, they're a lower tier so obviously they're going to level quicker. It's been that way for years. Why is it just a problem now? All tiers were being used regardless. From tier 1 all the way to tier 10 horses were being used.

It wont be long until the only mounts to remain are t8-t10 horses. T6 and t7 will be gone along with donkeys, camels, and elephants before too long. They want people to use dream and mythicals only. Which is why they've been giving out gold tier 8 horses and fodder for tier 9 and 10. Along with having all of the training/horse leveling events. Probably because they're going to offer several skins for them (dream and mythical) on the Pearl Shop that can't be placed on the market. But before they do they want to make money off of people who are sentimental by 'upgrading' low tier horses into the ugliest t6 model available so people spend money to change its appearance. So their horses can look how they did before. Then they'll be 'upgraded' again. Cashgrab. A dirty move. Classic Pearl Abyss. They want to squeeze the playerbase for all it's worth using dirty tactics. Whether it's this move, or selling more and more outfits that can't be put on the market...Pearl Abyss; "Pay more. Get less."

So, now that Tier 6 is now Tier 1, as there are no tiers beneath it, rename the tiers, PA.

Better yet, let there be no tiers, and let all hroses have the same chance to become great coursers.

Let all appearances be available to all horses, if you truly love your playerbase.

Keeping the name Tier 6 just lets everyone know that days were once good, before March 20, 2024, before March 8, 2023, before April 13, 2022......

Yeah it doesn't really make sense to call them t6-tt10 when there arn't that many tiers anymore lol. Something else they failed to take into consideratation. Yet another oversight... All of the horses should just be ONE tier. Wouldn't that make more sense at this point? Just remove the damn tier system and have ALL of the appearance options available for ALL horses (except for dreams and mythical). Dreams and Mythicals wouldn't be considered a tier because they're unique (as unique as you can be in this game anyway). The tier system is dated and obsolete as that was before Dream and Mythical came out.

 Yeah, I was a fan of the tier 5 horses. Not all of them (the ones that looked like work horses with vinyl which made them look more like racecars than horses). But the ones that looked like nice Quarter Horses (the blood bay and the black horse with the flaxen mane & tail). Those were my favorites. Not a fan with how the dream and mythicals look. They have weird textures, manes, and tails. They too have small dead looking eyes of all the other horses. Small, no detail, and no expression. Rather lifeless. The donkeys are adorable and their faces look better than the horses (in my opinion). Especially the Shai Donkey. Those have the best details (eyes and textures). I don't know if you can collect all three Shai ones. You used to be able to, when the Shai first came out. But like every other good thing they ever had they probably took that away too. I also like their costumes. Again I wish Pearl Abyss would do more with the other mounts (don't take them away!) I've stabled all of my horses and use everything but. I'll go on foot before I cave in, lol. I hope they don't remove camels, donkeys, and elephants. But with the way things are going, I don't know...

It's nice to have variety and they keep taking that away. I'd like seeing people on different mounts instead of everyone using the same thing. It's boring. Variety is good. I too, refuse to spend money on skins because, what's the point? So they can be deleted? What they should do is make every tier appearance available for all horses (minus the dream and mythical obviously). It'd also be nice if Donkeys and Camels were breedable so you can get different looks with them (including the Shai varient for donkeys). It'd be nice too if they'd do something with Heilang (since you use him as a mount too for Tamer). Costumes and various appearances. Anything to add variety and mix it up a little to be a bit more unique. They also need more costumes for camels, donkeys, and elephants (elephants don't have ANY).
