All I read in this thread is a bunch of people complaining about menial stuff, you didnt use the T1-T5's scattered around the world be honest with yourselves. You all are so desperately clinging on to such a small part of the game, that needed to be vastly improved anyways. This is a step in the right direction by PA. Consolidate, Consolidate, Consolidate all the parts of the game that make it confusing and frustrating for a new player base. I understand that Training as a lifeskill is all of your past time and probably favorite part of the game. But keep an open mind, this change opens up a lane for T9+ breeding and more advancements in life skilling in general. If you continue to look at every change with a negative lens, you'll never be able to enjoy the game.

It's crazy to me to see all the "monitezation" comments when PA has cut down on that aspect of the game. Yes, you can sell things from the pearl shop to the market. Will that highly impact the game in a way that breaks it? No, it will not. Will PA delete all horses except T9-T10? Not very likely. Life skilling in general has had a HUGE face lift and pushed in the right direction for lifeskillers to be able to be viable and profitable. So, pull up your big boy/big girl pants and enjoy the damn game instead clinging to the past.

We are aware, you can sell most things on the market. However, there are also a lot of things you can't sell on the market. For example; seasonal outfits, ship skins & wagon skins, dream/mythical costumes, horse appearance change coupon, ect.). The latter two examples are what is affected the most by Pearl Abyss' latest decision. For people who did like the looks of the lower tier horses, if they want their horse to look the way it was, they'd have to pay for it. So keeping that in mind it makes it highly unlikely that should they come out with skins or more costumes for dream/mythical, those items would be able to be placed on the market.

People have a good reason to be upset as this change was unnecessary. The low tiers weren't hurting anything. It was better left alone. There are also a lot of people who use regular horses because they simply don't care for the dreams/mythicals. I myself like the regular mounts; donkeys, low tier horses, camels, and elephants (that doesn't mean I want dreams/mythicals to be removed). I use my dreams on occasion but I still liked having my other mounts available to use. I like variety as do several other players. It gets rather boring and stale if everyone looks the same. I realize in a video game you're going to have duplicates (it's to be expected and it's inevitable) but if you have just enough variety it's not quite as noticeable or jarring. It's easily overlooked. Pearl Abyss keeps taking things away rather than actually improving upon the game itself. Never a good sign when a game does that.

Is complaining about it going to change anything? Likely not. But people have a right to voice their displeasure over certain things that are done in this game. That's what the feedback forums are for...to provide feedback about changes players don't like, things players would like to see added or done, ect.

As for your comments about life-skilling receiving a facelift... Training has always been on the back burner. This was yet another slap in the face to trainers (there are a lot, by the way). The only thing they did for training life-skilling was making horse taming less punishing (less spacebar spamming and less sugar required). It's weird they'd make that change then take t1-t5 away completely. Some things Pearl Abyss does just makes me scratch my head. But that's a topic for another thread...

And - there are no more horse registrations in the stable shops. I was wondering if, after removing the t1 registrations, they qwould replace them with t6.  But no.  I guess they are expecting all new players to start with two new free t9s (or mythical censers, which would be funny).  The main quest also gives away mounts at a couple of points early on - are those just gone now?

"Welcome to  Black Desert! Here's your new beginner Pegasus / Unicorn / Fire horse! Aren't we great? We're just giving you what used to be considered a treasured item - for free!  Stay a while, we'll give you more!  Please stay.  Won't you stay?  Come on, stay.  Just one more day.  Please. Please? ..."

So gross, but so true.......

And in regards to games being on their last legs, yeah, free hand-outs of high-grade stuff and trying to get everyone to end-game as fast as possible....... that's what all games that have about a year left do......... or devs desperate for big bucks for no real work....

This latest stunt was pure greed.  Buy them appearance coupons!!!

I'm getting close to maxing out Guru level training... So yeah, I have a lot of high tier horses. But it makes me sad that I can't visit with my first wild-caught T5 from all those years ago -- from before training and getting dream horses became stupid easy. His name was Neo and he was a basic all-black T5, and he enjoyed his retirement hanging out around the stable. I don't get why he had to be gone. :( It was MY stable space he occupied, not anyone else's.
