So, now that Tier 6 is now Tier 1, as there are no tiers beneath it, rename the tiers, PA.

Better yet, let there be no tiers, and let all hroses have the same chance to become great coursers.

Let all appearances be available to all horses, if you truly love your playerbase.

Keeping the name Tier 6 just lets everyone know that days were once good, before March 20, 2024, before March 8, 2023, before April 13, 2022......

BDO Classic when?   I'll pay 100 bucks for it.

I was thinking about that last night.  They should change it from T6, T7, and T8 to Low, Mid, High, then obviously Dream, Mystical.

Or just remove the tier system altogether at this point...Have all of the appearance options available for all of the horses (except dream and mythical obviously). Have the regular horses all be the same tier. The tier system is obsolete as that was before dream and mythical. That was also before they started removing them...

They can keep the courser system though as that in itself would still keep training and breeding relevant.

So apparently, based on a reply to a bug thread ( here ) T1 horses that were obtained from stable emblems were still deleted and had the silver value put in the warehouse, but there was absolutely no mention of this anywhere in the patch notes.

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

It's starting to feel like they're just removing Training as a lifeskill entirely :/. Training is not about getting T9s and T10s. If it was then why isn't the lifeskill more relavant to our awakening success chance.....? But I guess thats a topic for a different thread... technically the aim of this thread did happen. (To an extent).

I would also like to breed donkeys ^^

And now that you've deleted 70% of the horses, you can delete the last 30% as well. Who needs horses? T6-T10 has become obsolete. T9 is already available 2x for free, so T1-T8 has become superfluous. So it can be deleted.

Apart from that, I also see that it makes the work skill more difficult. It's not easy anyway and now you have to start with the heaviest horse in the game as a beginner. A T1 horse was well leveled after a few hours and as a beginner there was also EXP to grow on. With a T6 you don't know what you're doing and it takes forever to level up this stupid horse. To be honest, I see this as a problem -.-

Well as I've said before they'll probably delete ALL of the mounts (except dreams and mythicals) at some point. I hope they don't. But with the way things are going. I wouldn't say dreams and mythicals are obsolete, but they're not exactly amazing either. They're pretty much used for looks (for some people), bragging rights (before they became handouts), and traveling in different areas or ways (Arduanatt for gliding over areas providing shortcuts, dine for desert travel thereby replacing camel, donkey and elephant along with providing healing and protection, and doom for speed with some aoe damage). Their intent, even from the start I think, was always about replacing the regular mounts with dreams and mythicals. Less mounts for them to manage that way. And possibly more money for them if they release skins as well as more costumes...which are untradeable (can't be placed on market).

And - there are no more horse registrations in the stable shops. I was wondering if, after removing the t1 registrations, they qwould replace them with t6.  But no.  I guess they are expecting all new players to start with two new free t9s (or mythical censers, which would be funny).  The main quest also gives away mounts at a couple of points early on - are those just gone now?

"Welcome to  Black Desert! Here's your new beginner Pegasus / Unicorn / Fire horse! Aren't we great? We're just giving you what used to be considered a treasured item - for free!  Stay a while, we'll give you more!  Please stay.  Won't you stay?  Come on, stay.  Just one more day.  Please. Please? ..."

All I read in this thread is a bunch of people complaining about menial stuff, you didnt use the T1-T5's scattered around the world be honest with yourselves. You all are so desperately clinging on to such a small part of the game, that needed to be vastly improved anyways. This is a step in the right direction by PA. Consolidate, Consolidate, Consolidate all the parts of the game that make it confusing and frustrating for a new player base. I understand that Training as a lifeskill is all of your past time and probably favorite part of the game. But keep an open mind, this change opens up a lane for T9+ breeding and more advancements in life skilling in general. If you continue to look at every change with a negative lens, you'll never be able to enjoy the game.

It's crazy to me to see all the "monitezation" comments when PA has cut down on that aspect of the game. Yes, you can sell things from the pearl shop to the market. Will that highly impact the game in a way that breaks it? No, it will not. Will PA delete all horses except T9-T10? Not very likely. Life skilling in general has had a HUGE face lift and pushed in the right direction for lifeskillers to be able to be viable and profitable. So, pull up your big boy/big girl pants and enjoy the damn game instead clinging to the past.

Removing patterns did not improve the game for anyone. It made Training boring for those who enjoyed it for FUN. Not everything about the game has to be about making the best silver. Who is going to notice this change in horses and training? Only the people who enjoyed it. Everybody else has no reason to care. It didn't hurt them seeing a variety of horses in the world. What does this even have to do with new players being less confused...? They got a free T9! There is nothing to be confused about. Except the question "why does Training exist, we got a free T9 with all the skills lol".

Personally, I don't want something as dumb as T9+ breeding.

T9 awakening was already enough unfun gameplay. It was just a disgusting RNG mess that screwed over people repeatedly. (This is coming from someone who awakened 7 of my Coursers into T9s years ago before they were just given out for free as if they were nothing but starter gear). 7 horses I spent real money on to turn into coursers,  7 horses I then spent MORE real money on when they awakened using skill changes so they were viable for all my characters. Now,  they are given out for free with all skills TWICE? Then I'm told I have to combine those horses through an even more disgusting RNG system just to get T10. And then spend more money again so it can learn all the skills back. Yeah, so fricken fun.

This is why T8 and below breeding was more enjoyable. It was a casual form of breeding we could enjoy without obsessing over the "final prize". We didn't have to sit around farming materials just to even do a single "breeding".  Yes, players want improvements to lifeskills, but butchering it slowly with no promises of anything "good to come" for the lifeskill is hardly going to give people much hope.

Not everybody enjoys a gameplay that involves min/maxing towards the big prize. For many of us, it's that type of behavior that turns every activity into a chore and causes us to quit. The process of getting there should be fun to make people keep doing it. Instead it is draining and demotivating around every corner. Because you know every single time you do an attempt, if you don't succeed you're a failure and now you have to go do it all over again. You wasted not only billions but so much of your time. I specifically never got into enhancing my own gear because this type of gameplay is not fun. Now, horse training is the same.

Why aren't we rewarded for leveling up a horse's skills when we sell them off?

Why aren't we rewarded for breeding different patterns?

This is literally just two of the ways they could have improved training to be both profitable and more fun, but has never been considered.

I want them to bring back the patterns they removed, not lock them behind cashshop. I want the ORIGINAL horse breeding, not frustrating horse awakening form of it. I want what used to be my main reason of playing this game to not be tunnel visioned into awful T9 and T10 awakening. The very mounts that started the downfall of breeding in the first place. The very reasons that mounts like donkeys, camels, and elephants are forgotten.

I don't think anyone here is complaining about "menial" things. And if you do, then I don't think you understand what you said at all.

You: "I understand that Training as a lifeskill is all of your past time and probably favorite part of the game."

Are you sure?

... you didnt use the T1-T5's scattered around the world ...

Sure I did.  And if you read this thread and the others like it, like you said that you did, you would have read about a number of other people who also used <t6.

The rest of your post is just insulting other players and should be removed.  If you would be so kind ... ?
