DoubleStutter - is a cyclic freeze, which means that it occurs every N seconds. In addition, there are single-stutterers that occur between double-stutterers.
How to see it: Activate the frametime graph in RTSS Rivatuner Statistics Server or other similar programs.
It's not very noticeable in the video but in irl it's very annoying.
What have affects on it:
-
FPS - the more fps you have the more often it occurs.
-
Interface (UI) settings.
Test results
-
CAP FPS 400 in RTSS.
-
Using CapFrameX for capture and analysis.
The time between freezes can of course vary depending on location, server and other factors. But the main thing is that even slightly, you can manipulate this problem.

Just jumping on the back of this because "stuttering". I'm surprised I had to go a page back to find something relative.
I have a relatively low spec pc, running on low settings and never had stuttering issues outside of what would be acceptable. Since the last patch (26/03/24) however, there's a stuttering issue bearing on untolerable. There's a patterned micro stutter regardless of what you're doing followed by a client hang to the point of almost a crash. A few guildies reported the same thing. Something to do with UI, in particular the new currency UI?
I just want to log in and play the game, like I have relatively without issue for hte past couple of years.
fyi: there's no hardware instability my side. Probably something someone should look into.
