It's our 8 year anniversary. Happy ST. Paddy's Day!!

On another more progressive note on things that we players should have is a community pased petition board for in-game changes.

There is a list with all the potential updates I've thought about, but to start with I will open with is "Adding Gender Selection for All Classes!!"

This would bring a lot of players back and increase our revenue.

Imagine a YouTube Advertisement letting everyone see Gender Selection is Available for All Classes!!

Is that not what the feedback forum is?  Yet 99.9% of the threads get ignored.

That's why attaching things to revenue is a good form of advertising for the employees of Pearl Abyss.

They could start with giving a free coupon in a reedemable code and then add "Gender Selection Coupons" to the Pearl Shop.

It would give Male Characters another scene and increase revenue as well as sustainable Player-Count.

Imagine seeing a Male Nova summon Demons and pushing with a Male Tamer that has summons.

The possibilities are endless.

Not gonna happen - the sex of the classes is tied to the lore.

Lore is Ancient History.

Join the Winning Side of the Industrial Revolution.

This would create jobs for our Graphics Designers, Voice Role Models, and Streamers World-Wide.

While I may agree with your standpoint on lore. I just don't see it happening. People have been asking this for a while now. Or at the very least have equal amount of classes for males that they do for females. And you can see how far that went. They still release more females and less males. As it is a Korean mmorpg; Sex Sells! Also, Pearl Abyss has made it abundantly clear that they do not wish to put a lot of time, effort, and money into the game. Through their recent actions; condensing the game, releasing classes that are a mash-up of what we already have, less class exclusive outfits or outfits that are basically just a reskin, ect. They just do things in order to get quick cash. In other words they recycle content and slap some fresh paint on it and call it 'new' for cashgrab. I would love Pearl Abyss to make real changes. Big changes. Overhauling character creation, updating and expanding on lore as well as implementing it better, overhauling life-skilling to make it meaningful as well as immersive, add immersion overall to the game, make the classes unique, expand on and add to the fantasy aspect of the game, ect.

But I just don't see ANY of that happening. They only make small changes, which is why any feedback they listen to is small or something they were going to add anyway. To give players the illusion that they listen. They honestly don't seem to care what players want.

Well thats kind of the point, there would be more sex if there were more players of both genders.

That's not exactly the highlight I'm trying to get to though...

Gender Equality is beneficial for Black Desert Online because it Stimulates the Economy and Creates Jobs for our Community.

Creativity would allow us to play with certain scenarios like having a Male Corsair with Zabuza from the Water Village, or making a Male Nova with Shadow Clones like Naruto.

The amount of Role-Play and Cos-Play that this unlocks is virutally considered an expansion.

There are almost 30 classes if that, and it takes a lot of effort to add animations, combat, costumes and quests to said classes and each of them need to be updated. While balancing would be the same between male and female, it would still be incredibly difficult and expensive for them to develop. I can't imagine this making any money or getting much support by the community. It's not simple and they have stated many times before that they will not be doing this for a variety of reasons.

When refering to new classes, it's more appealing to sell something new than recyling an old class just for a different gender. I can't see them ever doubling their efforts for almost no revenue. If it were much easier to do and maintain, I would be for it but I would rather see them place their efforts into making the game more enjoyable and add new content than to focus on minor but expensive RP changes like this.
