yesterday they made a post about the VP of loyalty.

Oh indeed, didnt read in details and missed the part where they said it would remain in the LT shop.
Lets see the info for the others items then
Revamp. That sounds like some of the items we're used to seeing in the Loyalty shop might go away. They only specified VPs aren't going away. I wonder if I need to stock up on character slots.
Yeah that's why a more precise communication about what's going to stay & leave would be nice.... I hope they arent going to be sneaky and apply the change without preview warning. As if important item are going a way, its going to be pretty lame.
I would suggest spending your loyalty points before the transfer since the prices are probably going to increase, since we are going to be getting 200 LP daily.
They're also halving the value of loyalty points. For instance, instead of 1400 for a 1 day value pack it'll be 2800. I had nearly 25k LP saved up, so I spent them all tonight while they still have their full value.
You're correct to suggest people spend their points, but it's not because they'll get 200 a day. It's because the existing loyalty points will be worth much less.
. It's because the existing loyalty points will be worth much less.
exactly, and i dont get why they double the loyalty earned, if its to double all the items we already have and thoses that will stay (as the time spend to get one will then not change... )
it only bring the downside of devaluate the loyalty players already have. they could just /2 the "new item" loyalty price and no problem...
but i suppose it psychologicaly look better to give "200loyalty" instead of 100. ( whatever if in the end your buying power remain the exact same ( well not really as we now have to use all the lt we can have )
Doubling daily loyalty and doubling loyalty prices has a net zero change except for devaluing existing loyalty points accumulated. It's like they're saying, "Your loyalty with Kakao doesn't matter to us, it's time to start over." I don't really understand why they'd want to do this. Maybe they think some people accumulated too much stored loyalty that could get them too many advantages they would normally need to pay for in pearls.

It sounds like it wasn't done properly and there is a major fault. Anyone that doesn't spend their points may get shafted by the value being half. The ONLY notable benefit is the weight upgrades remaining the same cost. Ironically shafting people that already purchased them as they paid essentially 2x the cost for them.
For future purchases that does make a big difference for alt characters. It's essentially twice as fast to obtain weight upgrades for a new character. With SO MANY available classes that seems the least they could do.
Apologies if this has already been asked, but will Loyalty Points carry through from the transfer?
they will be carried over but their value will be cut in half since everything except for a few items in the loyalty store doubles in price on the third.
Therefore, to get your best value you should spend all accrued points now, I have 30k and tomorrow im gonna get a bunch of the items i use alot.
Some users are so short-sighted that they don't seem able to realize that the purpose of the change might be having OG vets spend their loyalties. Some of them stockpiled massive amounts since they got them from an era where Kakao was very generous with them through BSA yet didn't provide enough means to spend them.
If Pearl Abyss wants to introduce new costly items, this could be ruined by said vets who could instantly buy them instead of patiently waiting for them, which is the purpose of this currency.
Additionally, this situation creates a great imbalance between said vets and players who joined more recently and we all know how famous BDO community is for crying about balance.
