For anyone farming knowledge, especially when trying to get the coveted S Rank on ecology; having to endlessly swap characters between someone stationed at Calpheon Library and wherever you are at can get very tedious very fast; not to mention the amount of load screens often leads to crashes... which all amplifies the frustration greatly.

Would it be possible to get a button to delete knowledge from our library to save on load screens? Or perhaps another remote method?

[Clarification Edit] This is specifically for the one time acquisition knowledge items, such as amity cost/shop items, quest knowledge, and npc interacts in the Ecology catagory.

I thought, they changed it some time ago so that you don't have to delete knowledge to gain a higher grade of knowledge from a mob? I certainly did get a fair amount of S Rank knowledge over time, without ever deleting anything. Unless, it's still faster to get to S-Rank when you delete that knowledge and re-gain it? Even so, I'm not entirely convinced it's worth the effort deleting, when you enventually get to S Rank anyway.

not for 1-time knowledges

I am talking about the specific one time knowledges, not general ecology :)
I have added a clarification to the post to help with others thinking the same thing you did (general mob kill knowledge)

They used to have a loyalty item "Elixer of Oblivion" that would delete any knowledge remotely, but they removed that a few years ago. Wish they would put that back in

For mobs you don't need delete knowledge but if you want eg. Kzarka S you need speak with npc for knowledge, rng, delete C, B, A, A+, speak with npc again. Two loading times each time, which means two chances that the game will throw you into the system. The chance for S is about 10%, so sometimes there are even several dozen loading times for each knowledge (and that's how long it took me).
