I would love it if you could keep that on by default. Just so I can see my Pretty pets UI and have the "how hungry are they" meter up.

Too much clutter but they could implement the bar underneath the current pet symbol.

Yeah too much clutter.
Especially since they already blink red when hungry, and you just smash feed all and k. Noone cares about their exact bars.
