lmfao 2390 pearls for a crystal restore coupon... i'll pass.
Exactly! It's not something anyone has to buy. I don't plan on buying it either. Every player, just as before can buy their crystals off the market or make a new one.
This is a price of convenience or poor judgement. The only time I might even think about buying one of these is if my Girin's crystal busted, but I still got three free restores to use.
Tell me you're season locked without telling me you're season locked.
Season-locked? You can look at my profile and see that I'm well beyond you, buddy.
if it was like 100-500 pearls with no limit, kind of like the artifact/crystal expansion coupons then sure this is fine.
but PA, when crystals blow up they are 5b, 5b for 24 bucks makes sense... until you realize people are RECOVERING what they have lost, not GAINING NEW 5b.
I understand a company is out to make money but at 24 dollars with 3 limits makes absolutely no sense.
Ya'll can downvote me to hell, but it's true. PA needs to make an income in order to support their employees and in turn those employees can put to use their creative talents and in turn, give us an even more rich environment/gameplay to take part in. J isn't the ONLY one creating Black Desert - it's a team of people and if you think they're going to continue doing it for nothing, you've got a lot to learn about how a business operates.

I agree with this. I can say, for what it currently is priced at, that it is a bit unreasonable, although I believe they have every right to stick it out there for the reasons I gave.
Predatory? To who? I'm pretty sure there aren't little fortnite kids who don't understand how a cash shop works playing this game. encyclopedic? Not really. It's organized well, and a lot of it -especially with class costumes- is repetitive.
iMaGiNe thinking the production of a game the requires the employment of hundreds of people shouldn't get any kind of income to be able to continue it's production and support. These people aren't volunteers.
One thing I know about my own job is that you can only give so much. As soon as the people of my profession ask for support in return we get shit on like we're the worst by the same people who once considered us "essential".

Crystal breaking was an original part of the game - it was part of the game to provide challenge and invoke strategy and tactics while fighting. It wasn't like it wasn't there and then they added it. I'd have a totally different opinion if that were the case.
Imagine charging your users for shit that happens when your servers lag.
I think that this crystal recovery expansion for 22 dollars shows that they have 0% intention of changing the crystal break system, why?
Because if they were to change this, they would have to refund everyone's crystal loss expansion purchases. This was their way of telling us: no
Sure, they technically did this with the lifeskill transfer coupons, but considering we're in the age of "QoL" I don't see this happening anytime soon. Why sell something just to refund it back 5 months later?
We went from a support only fuction to where they go "Oh our game bugged out, huh? Sorry about that, here's your crystal back!" To just an ingame function and then procedes to monotize it. New players won't even know what they did. I see people doing Dakhia Oluns and dying like 4 times an hour, it's brutal. You need a perfect PC, internet, and connection to PA's servers. Seconds matter in avoiding sure hit kill mechanics.
Greediness aside, even 3 extra crystal recoveries won't "fix" crystal loss either because it's a whole gosh darn year! People will lose wayyyyy more than they could possibly ever buy. Try again PA.

Annnnd? It's cause all-around, they've built a pretty solid game over the years and continue to add to it. Again, nothing in that cash shop is something you have to pay for or are forced to buy.

Is this not something they had an understanding of before? I've heard from others that they'd restore crystals, through customer support, in events like this.
If not, then I can say I'm wrong in my position on this.
I wouldn't mind it if the p2w crystal restore was monthly.
