As of now Pearl Abyss doesn't care, i dont care either. I'm just gonna keep playing until i actually dont enjoy anymore.
Multiple posts about changing things about Shai for years have been, multiple feedback has been posted.
When Sol change was requested the Korean developers plainly didnt care about it. But when koreans themselves requested change they actually did something. 
Pearl abyss doesn't care about the Western Audience, they just want to give the appearence they do. But they don't. Its the cold reality.

I stopped doing actual feedback posts sometime ago when i see its clear that they don't care about western (and any other outer region) players. If you don't believe me, see Korean adventure board, filled with class related posts.
I understand you have that slight hope of still attempting for changes, and sure go for it, but dont expect it. 
Enough time has passed, and i have enough to firmly be pessimistic about this. 

That said, i would join the protest, if it happens. But i dont believe anything will change. They have had enough years to do something about Shai and they still didn't. Why would they now?
Anyway, i'm just gonna keep playing until i dont enjoy the game/class/whatever anymore. 

I hate to be negative, but often the reality is harsh, we can always try, but in the end its up to the Korean developers willingness to listen.
And more often than not, they have shown they don't care.

And also to even so they notice us, the community has to be united, if not, its doomed to fail.

My own boycotting method has been to simply not play the game for 7 months. I do log back in for great coupon codes and ball rewards and of course I hopped back over for that accessory hammer and Donkuanatt .. but even then, I just did a lap on Donkuanatt and logged. The hope for Donkuanatt was to update the mount that was advertised as part of our class indentity.. to a stage of the game where you cannot event catch low tier horses anymore and PA gives away dream horses for free. A 2 week meme preview is meaningless

But, since PA just confirmed in the Donkuanatt thread that they arent actually willing to give us "enjoyment class" stuff, maybe they will finally fix Shai and make us a normal class with awak/succ, better balance, and real gameplay?

also @Picklenose We did ask for dumb meme stuff but that was only because after years of asking for real class improvements they said "No. You're a dumb enjoyment class go RP or something lol" Well, I dont speak Korean but thats how I understood it.

Having my class be complete and feel as rewarding to play as any other class was always #1 desire. By asking for the dumb enjoyment class stuff we would either at least get something, or confirm that they were full of shit and just being obstinate. They confirmed its the second one.

I boomed yesterday and was far too angry to write the cohesive post this thread deserves. It started as an informative post and then evolved into requiring far more time and effort than I expected. As a result, it was a messy, contrived mess, and I reviewed them today and saw clear issues. I revised them into what I feel is an acceptable final draft and I don't plan on updating my take in any major fashion. Just note that this is just one solution and I never wanted to have to tell PA what to do. This is their class and their game, and my only goal is to tell them when there is a critical business-affecting problem with BDO that puts the game and happiness of players at risk. My changes are not the only way to change the game and I hope they can do something this year to resolve these issues. Any response in the next month or two would really help both the community of Shai players and PvPers as a whole.

I apologize to anyone who feels threatened by my suggestions and the criticality of the game, but the main point here is Shai is a problem for PvP and the game as a whole. Please help me fix it.

Shai is a problem in BDO. It needs to be fixed. 

It's either two possibilities :
They do something, or nothing about it. We will PA mentatility with fallen god weapons.

It would be bearable if we could tag another class but we can hardly even do that.

Well, that is the whole point of the feedback forums. =) To throw various ideas out there and see what (if any) stick, lol. It doesn't hurt anything. We all have ideas about the game that could possibly improve it in various ways. It shows you (like many others, myself included) are still passionate about the game as well as your class (which is a good thing) and want to see it improved. As well as have the game continue for several years to come. Stay positive and keep trying, as well as keep posting ideas. Don't give up! If nothing else it can lead to some good discussions about the game. I may not play Shai but, I think it'd be fair if she was equal to the other classes. Gave her importance rather than just a passive class or more of a meme than an actual class. Make her a viable class for both PvE and PvP. So, I hope that you Shai players are heard and that something is done about it (something good, lol). Like, for example; let her use her damn weapon while mounted like everyone else. So we can feel like Sango from Inuyasha, lol. I mean everyone else has mounted combat, it seems a bit unfair that Shai is the ONLY class to not have this feature.

On a side note; I had hoped the winged donkey would have been a permanent thing. Not going to lie, I'd use that ANY day over arduanatt (pegasus). Donkeys are my favorite mounts in the game, really cute and they have nice faces. Especially their eyes, (unlike the horses, tier 9 and tier 10 included). They actually have personality. Not to mention cute costumes. =)

I've read the statements twice.

Shai is a broken class with the right hands.  Evasion passive would make her hilarious uncapped, due to the 20s % florang evasion buff spam.   Delusive light is an amazing skill in PvP, when the Shai is getting targeted.  I appreciate the technical aspect and simplicity of Shai otherwise.

PA going to create 10 to 20 more classes that will appreciate 25% extra efficiency thanks to Shai buffs under optimized conditions.  Really the 5 buffs 30s-60s long should be toggable by guild leadership. A time cap, permanent (lol) or distributed to other classes due to their power.  Players appreciate Destruction elixirs,  5% special attack damage for 10 players is very powerful.

 Increase the efficacy of other classes by either removing the buff spam or make it more controllable as via guild leadership.

A good shai only buffing as several guild shotcallers want us is so miniscule for a Shai.  Changes to the "buffs" could make us focus more on our revamped kit or another class slotted.

Shai have been restless since other races learned how to play instruments :o
