Your stock is down.

Your revenue is down.

Your active player count looks like a constant up/down roller coaster because of free hand out events.

What is the objective? Everything seems like a cash grab. The calpheon/heidel etc balls, the most recent hammer event, seem like desperate attempts to attract alot of people via free hand outs, then load the pearl shop with even MORE items in hopes to turn a profit this/next quarter while the player count is temporarily up. You create problems in your game then sell the solution on the pearl shop. 

Ive played mmos for all my life with IRL people, and others that I have met online. I have yet to be sucessful at convicing anyone to play this game that I enjoy (most of the time). It always ends the same, they shey start asking questions....Inventory space, weight, enhancing, costumes, tents, rerolling to another character, fairys, etc etc. After awhile of answering their questions, I start to sound like the guy from Apple's commercial "theres a pearl shop item for that" "theres a pearl shop item for that"  "theres a pearl shop item for that"  "theres a pearl shop item for that"  Then just like that, POOF, they're gone, never to return. It's freakin sad...

Start making updates that are not only going to attract more players, but keep them around. A few examples are:

Let weight and inventory space become family wide. Your game has like 30+ classes and counting, its insane...

Costumes should be family bound

Remove crystal breaking

Farming plots using CP

76 different pets for 76 different things

Lessen durability loss when enhancing

Lessen cron stone cost for protected attempts

Way more character tags/gear copying

Remove the 3 buffs from the pearl shop and slap an afforadble monthly sub on the game that give you the buffs

This list could go on and I probably missed quite a bit. The point is, let there be a light at the end of the tunnel as far as the pearl shop goes, and once you reach that light the company still earns money from not only your sub, but from the tens of thousands other people youve attracted that are going to stick around. Your game can still have a pearl shop, but fill it with items that aren't a fix for your broken in-game systems. I can already see the comments now, "if they change all that how are they going to make money", "you can play without the pearl shop", blah blah blah...Regardless of what your opinion is, what they are doing now isn't working and is on the decline, their stock and earnings reports mean more then your opinion. The whales (minority) of this game that spend thousands upon thousands of dollars arent enough to keep it afloat at this rate. You've got something great PA, stop letting it sink and think about attracting new players and keeping them around..

Yep, whole game is one big cashgrab now. Worse than it was before. Sadly there aren't really any other mmorpgs out there worth playing and none really coming out. They know that so they're taking advantage of it knowing people will still play. They keep releasing more outfits that 'can't be placed on the market' so people have to buy pearls if they want it badly enough. They constantly take things away. They release less content and more quick cashgrab solutions (half-baked FOTM classes, outfits you can't place on the market, more convience items in pearl shop, ect). By putting in less effort they spend less money and make more. Yet, they say they want to keep the game going for 'several years to come,' they sure have a funny way of showing that...

But don't worry I'm sure people will disagree with these statements and continue to say, "the game is going strong, it's in a REALLY good state! Best it's ever been!" Gotta love denial...

and if you add backhandish pearl items, then price them properly. 72bucks for 3recovery/year what a joke!!!

If they added more playable races and new gameplay options/content (air content, climbing, and actual underwater content) along with actual server fixes, actual class balance, joinable factions for open world PvP, immersive content, give ALL mounts a good overhaul (rather than deleting them), overhaul character creation, ect. there'd actually be something worth getting excited about. It would give streamers something to actually stream rather than watching them grind for several hours or try to enchant something. But they're never willing to do anything new (too much work and money) so they dish out stuff we already have, give it a makeover, and call it 'new.' Or they give us bandaid solutions to problems they created or 'Pearl Shop fixes.' Thanks Pearl Abyss!

Why complain about PA giving you options to buy things that are non-essential?

I love the idea of PA giving us options to buy things that we might want, for whatever reason. 

If PA made more additons to the game that increased the convience of playing, I would be happy to get them, as they are optional. 

PA could add another fish-tank tomorrow for 100$ and I'll buy it. 

Good for you? That's a slippery slope. The more items they put in the Pearl Shop for 'convenience' the more it leans into Pay to Win (pay to progress is still in the pay to win catagory). It'd be better to add more items that you can earn in game and more ways to earn them. 

Also, a 'fishtank' is a far cry from a crystal restoration coupon. As crystals are essential...

PA trying to strongarm players for more money rather than make the game more engaging and enjoyable will just kill it as it always does. 

They should be removing crystal break or adding in a way to get protection or recovery in game to promote challenging PvE. Never let people who don't play your game make decisions about the game.

I.E. Chaebol corporate shills.

They should add an item (potion, scroll, or whatever) that can protect your crystals for a limited time. That you can EARN in the game via rewards from daily quests or crafting. If they're worried about people abusing it in PvP (people who have negative karma) have it to where it only protects your crystals in PvE situations. Adding 'fixes' or 'solutions' via Pearl Shop is a very BAD move. Especially with how expensive and important crystals are. It's like they don't even want people to actually play their game anymore. It's always, "there's a Pearl item for that." That should NEVER be the answer. Cash shop items should be cosmetic only. Trust me, there are a LOT of people who pay thousands of dollars on cosmetics alone. Everything else should be things you earn by playing the game. But don't have it to where you have to quit your job and play 24-7 for like two years straight in order to get something. They make the grind steep so they can sell 'convenience' items...to help you out...

Play to earn: yep.  But PA seems to be heading in the opposite direction, either giving away what used to be prize accomplishments, or allowing things to bought outright, sometimes as the only option.  Seems they have stuff reversed.
