Many mmos that have been on the market for years offer new players a character with max lvl and soft cap items at the start.

And yet you wont be happy with those soft cap items and will want BIS from the start....
Also, BDO was diferent, and was chosen because - action combat, gread visuals, OwPvP, PK, Sieges, lifeskilling, grinding. We dont care about others MMOS. If we cared about others mmmos we woud play then, not cry in forums to make BDO like them....

I've never claimed anything like that.

However, I am stating the obvious that obtaining true end game items takes an unreal amount of time and this needs to be changed.

PA takes:

1 step forward: Jetina boss pen.
2 steps back: godr enchament with a lvl drop.
1 step forward: adding the Ancient Anvil system.
2 steps back: Ancient Anvil system costs 4 times more than the price of the item in the market.
1 step forward: adding pity for infinity potions
2 steps back: expressing reluctance to add pity for all treasures.
1 step forward: apparent moves to reduce toxic and unwanted open pvp.
2 steps back: reluctance to permanently remove open pvp from the game.
1 step forward: pseudo crystal protection.
2 steps back: adding additional psuedo protection in IS.
1 step forward: reducing the CP price of some nodes.
2 steps back: adding fields to IS instead of lowering their CP price.
Conclusion: nothing changes and BDO is still stuck in vegetation.

That seems so normal for the mentality of bdo-players nowadays.

But look, you can still force pvp and kill which then takes longer to recover Karma is a small nerf since some players took advantage of it because karma was recovered very quickly. Speaking of PvP there are many alternatives to do it, there are organized GvGs or not, servers like arenas, node wars without or with limitations, battle arenas, duels, solar arenas, I'm not very knowledgeable but there should be War of the Roses. If then doing open world PvP and grifing at the players who are grinding is right what they did. If you mean to say that vice versa another player is grifting you they have also done some things to help you by putting Marni's Realm, increasing the times you can use Marni's Realm per day, putting the 3 guild servers that you can change without couldown, reducing the couldown for change server from 15 minutes to 5 minutes, increasing grinding spots.
In short, if you find a player who grins at you (even if you can't find any anymore thanks to these things) you only let him grin at you if you want it.

Above all, it would make sure that players will be able to binge play the game and leave as soon as possible. Did you ever think that players may be looking for games in which they don't get everything on a silver plate under a month? 

And he never said basi/narc/crescent were real endgame. As far as I know, base FG is not real endgame either, but you decided to interpret too much. Once more, should I say.

I think what's disgusting is the sheer number of players who can't admit that they're too soft for Arsha but still beat their chests about "OWPvP" being removed. They want soft PvP but can't admit that since they also want to look like big boys. Arsha can be what you want but critical mass of those starved for OWPvP have to be willing to move over and be at the bottom of the food chain until a healthier more balanced playerbase develops. Until you guys take that step, you're functionally identical to the rest of the PvE'rs but whinier.

Open world griefing you mean. There is still the Arsha channel were the karma system doesn't exist. But when the word Arsha is mentioned suddenly you get a lot of excuses.

well for those of you who dont wish to be full time red and unlock all the benefits of that, here are some other options to have similar fun:

-throw on your best evasion set and run around grind zones intentionally with your homies and see who can leash the most mobs

-drive a remote collected wagon through a grind zone so that if you get flagged on the other dude gets sentenced to life in prison

-fire some cannons into grind spots

-the garmoth derby: alt c on a doom on the way home from garmoth

-the black shadow derby: same as above but during shadow

but seriously, if pa wants to fix the openworld experience, they should consider implementing opt in pvp factions (randomly assigned) that reset monthly. similar to war of the roses but extended to openworld. randomly draft people who opt in to different factions
