Suggestions/Comments: Current rates for music exp is so small we can't even see it from our profile since it doesn't show decimals and have to check leaderboards for it.
Fastest way to get music exp currently is to make a 200 BPM, 3/4 Meter, 200 Measure (length), 600 Note song and keep playing that over and over. (No, note coun't doesn't increase the exp gain unlike what the tooltip says, tested and reported here https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Forum/ForumTopic/Detail?_topicNo=55381)

With this, each song takes 3 mins to play and you get 0.04% Music EXP. This is 125 HOURS to go from C+ to B grade musicianship. Keep in mind, this is playing with 200BPM! By default, songs are 120BPM, so if we were just using our regular songs without a super high BPM (5 mins per song), it'd take 208 HOURS for ONE grade. Which, I'm sure gets much worse after grade B and so on.

Not only this does not promote any skillful composition; it disincentivizes composers from playing a wide range of songs and focusing on longer, high bpm songs if they want to increase their grade by any meaningful amount.

Aren't there a bunch of dailys. Like I see one in velia tavern I take and turn in the 1st part for 100 cp exp then there was one on oquilla eye. But then it requires you to play a song and that idk what to do or how you get songs. I doubt it was meant to be playing one song forever. But hey sailing and trading are real slow too so 125h seems like nothing

No, they removed the dailies as well.

Also, while sailing is also incredibly slow to level even with dailies, you get sailing mastery from the sailing levels and faster cannons at Guru (if you can even get there at least) - or reducing your parley use with Barter levels.

Music is just a fun thing on the side you can do with no silver gain whatsoever and there's no reason that something that requires talent to create should have a leaderboard/exp system depending on how long you've mindlessly played the same exp song over and over.

Im currently at 1.05% and its taken me 2 Hours. Im playing the highest bmp song known to me ingame. This exp is way too slow. I should of been at 100% by now they need to move that decimal lol!

They do it as fun not some mad rush to be a+ which is probably the max who knows

It takes me like 55 days of every sailing daily and wkly to get one level now. Free free to come play a sad song on my boat as we lvl slowly together

Yep, I'm currently at Master 2 sailing myself and don't see the point of trying to level it to guru while you can just get 2000 mastery with accessories much easier, so there's a way around the exp grind. Though even when doing sailies you get some sort of progression with materials and crow coin - they also announced the carracks being marketable so you could turn all those into direct silver when they add that as well.

As you said music is just for fun. Why shouldn't it be fun to level music and see your grade go up? You already make 0 silver playing music, there's no reason to make it a 200 hour long grind to get one grade; let alone be incentivized to play different songs than what you like listening to because they give higher music exp ~

How are people anything over C grade? So many of us are at C - 100%

How did people get C+ music grade.

Update: Played like 4 songs and went to C+ not sure if I just missed something here or what.

The rank is nothing but vanity. It means nothing and you gain nothing from a higher music grade. So increasing exp for measures played won't mean a thing other than you get to see C+ turn into B faster.
