Bad luck Mr. Detective. Owning the game is not the same as the date you created your first character.BDO premiered on Steam on May 24, 2017. Back then, you could also get a free key in various competitions. And that's the key I won. I was wondering whether to leave it or give it to someone. 2 months later I activated it on my Steam account. In October 2019 I created my first character. This game was so bad that for over 2 years I didn't want to play it even though I got it for free!!!

Started playing Jan 2016.  I don't HATE the pvp changes since I never really felt the need to flag up on others or to settle personal scores.  I do think that PA wenmt too far, both in eliminating one sided deccs and in lengthening time it takes to recover karma.  I do appreciate that they addressed the harassment of bullying being done with endless deccs that had nothing to do with keeping grind spots.

I am absolutely fine with the changes. I've played on and off since launch and have never really enjoyed the toxicity that has come with openworld PVP. Especially unprovoked PVP or those pesky DFS offers from lazy people who don't want to search for a free grindspot.

I'd rather spend my time grinding and being productive, I'll PVP in Solare/Nodewar.

So in reality you did not play at all before 2019. Giving any opinions on what happened between 2016 - last quarter of 2019 is just something never to be taken seriosly.

Yes the reality is one - you didnt play the gmae and you know nothing about the game on its release.
Also must say that the game when coem to EU was already aout for 2 years. You just know nothing about the game and you showing it all the time.

Between 2016 and 2019, not much has changed in bdo, so what have you learned? Nothing. What have I lost? Nothing either.
I would like to note that I also used grunil, liverto, asula so it's like I've been playing bdo since launch, except that I achieved it all in 3 months and you in 3 years. 

Then open pvp made sense because almost all players had the same and identical statistics, now the disproportions are too large.
