That is so absolutely wrong my friend. All the people i know left the game not because they couldnt get BIS endgame gear (which you acutally dont need for anything in this game). They quit because there is almost 0 group content (which is what many people expect when coming to an MMORPG), because the grind (or generally almost all of the PVE content) is just incredibly repetitive and boring after a certain time. Most people dont actually care about having the best gear there is to have. They wanna log in and enjoy the game, optimally with their friends. And BDO is severely lacking in that aspect. The most group play you will fin here is PvP - which in my case is a great thing - but not everyone likes that. So they aint gonna stick around for the mediocre pve experience.

Aside from those aspects another group of people actually quit the game because of the way the game moved away from openworld-sandbox experience with open pvp to one that is mostly instanced and deserted. If it wasnt for AoS which makes me login on an almost daily basis for a few hours of pvp, i would also not see any point in launching the game anymore - and im considered gearless by todays standards sitting at 700gs (not even 1 Blackstar). Because i can do about everything there is content-wise in this game with my gear. Which is exactly why i see no reason to do anything anymore. For me it used to be gearing up for pvp but sicne that smostly capped or non-existent, well... I dont wanna say there aren't any people that might think like you do, but it is the absolute minority. People quit for lack of content, whether that be pvp or the mediocre pve experience. But surely not because they cant get all BIS items in 3 months. (exaggerated obviously)

Oh and btw im a friggin slacker. i loathe grinding. i hate it. and even i managed to get to 700gs in a matter of a few months. so i dont know. its really not that difficult. most people i know that started the game about 6-12 months ago have 720+ gearscore (yes, with blackstars).

If you dont like the enhancing, just buy your items. hell even pen debo earrings are listed these days. and making money has never been easier. some grind here, some lifeskill there. maybe some cheap ass profit enhancing on the site. a few events. bam. you can buy your stuff.

They have group content:

- world bosses

- field bosses

- guild bosses

- whale hunt

- khalk hunt

- horse racing

- atoraxxion

- mob party zones.

As you can see, they can play group content 24/7.

2. Because open pvp is toxic and is not pvp at all as long as both parties want to participate in it. So stop repeating yourself, go play Albion, it has just launched, just hurry up because in a month no one will be playing it anymore.

ROTFL. BDO probably has the most content in the history of mmo games. The only problem is that 90% of this content is dead because it is outdated and does not reward the player for participating in this content.

Muuuhahhaahaa. It takes a new player several months to get all the Tuval Pens. And you have been playing for almost 7 years. 7 years and you only have 700 GS (and GS means nothing today because it is very easy to increase GS through DP, but the problem is to effectively increase AP).

Lie + as I mentioned above: too much DP relative to AP, Unless they have 310 AP in their 720 GS, it's as if they had nothing.

There is one more issue: waste of resources. If your friends bought, for example, tungrads pen instead of deboreka tet, they lost hundreds of billions and all the time they devoted to the game. It's not an art to make a 700 GS quickly, the trick is to do it wisely.

How many times does this have to be repeated: players don't want items contaminated with another player's nickname.

ROTFL. Their prices are so outrageous that an average person who plays 1-2 hours a day would have to play for how long to buy them (and all the rest, i.e. crappy tet and bs pen)? 5 years? 10 years? And where are all the manos pens? Next 10 years?

i dont wanna take this any further cuz we all know you are just a troll a this point. but just so you know i didnt play the game until 12-2020 ad i havent done any progress in this game for like 2 years i think. but thats my choice. because i only stick to pvp.

and bro come on. group content? you are seriously saying world bosses are group content? maybe we are playing on different servers ^^ i dont know. but guild bosses are once per week and basically bulletsponge. group spots - except for olluns - are dead. i will say the dungeons are nice. but then again thats once per week.

and anyways i already said it. its just my opinion and what i have heard from the players in my community that quit the game. they all left for lack of content NOT because they couldnt progress.

you try to play this MMORPG like you would go into a store, buy a singleplayer RPG thats got a fixed timeline to play it through in like 2 weeks. it doesnt work like this in BDO. accept it. why would you even want that. if you finish the game theres nothing to do anymore. you would rob yourself of the fun to continue playing.

Holy, what game you're playing? It takes me 2-3 days to be full pen tuvala cuz i have a fulltime job and i'm only able to play 3-4 hours a day.

And i do this almost every season, cuz mostly theres a new class released and i'd like to have some gear on it.

I managed to get on my first char a full PEN tuvala in less than 3 weeks and back in March last year I was still new to the game.
