Shai and the Artina Sol Tag Penalty: Time for a Change?

With the recent addition of music to every class in Black Desert Online, the Shai class has arguably lost its claim to complete musical exclusivity. This raises the question: should the Artina Sol tag penalty for Shai remain?

Current Situation:

Shai, known as the "Life Skills Master", previously held the unique ability to play music. However, this is no longer the case. This change might warrant revisiting the restrictions associated with tagging Shai and using her signature weapon, the Artina Sol, on another character, with the tag conversion.

The Artina Sol Penalty:

Currently, tagging Shai and equipping the Artina Sol on another class still restrict the tagged character's weapon cloning. This penalty discourages players from using Shai's weapon on the tag system for other classes.

Arguments for Removing the Restrictions:

• Loss of Musical Exclusivity: With music available to all classes, Shai's defining feature has diminished.  The Artina Sol penalty becomes less justifiable.
• Flexibility and Choice: Removing the penalty would offer players more freedom in choosing their tagged character and weapon.
• Shai's Overall Power: Shai isn't considered a top-tier combat class. The Artina Sol, even without the penalty, wouldn't be a dominant choice for most players.

I can't say anything other than, yes this should happen. My feeling at this point is PA is deliberately holding back BS sol and tagging because they know when it happens there will be way fewer shai mains till they rework the class

yeah, i 100% agree with you. As a having been a sole shai player for the past 4 years i have wanted to try to tag other classes but this one restriction has held me back from being able to try something new without bying a new Pen awak weapon. So i never tried any new classes outside of season.

and as you said theres no reason for keeping shai from getting a BS sol, but one can only pray to the heavens that PA will do something about this

I just wanna be able to tag a shai on my shai, the Sol has way too many penalties, shai is a dying class because theres too many things holding shai back, to make things worse, shes not even a "master lifeskiller" most classes can do what she does and some better in terms of mobility i.e. tree cutting 

I would like to keep spending $1000's of dollars on this game every year. But PA is not giving us a shai rework. So I might just quit.
