+1 Marriage to other players would be cool, especially since gms in the past have hosted in game weddings. Also a side bonus for romance emotes !

A "romance" animation pack sure would sell like crazy...

A marriage system will be a useful thing, but not so much into the concept of royal marriage between husband and wife. So much so that bdo doesn't have that many couples playing. I think the marriage system could be useful for even those strong friendships that we have in-game. Who doesn't have that guy I play the most time with and spend the most time in the game? who do not have?

Let me suggest what could be done in my view regarding a future marriage system.

So Player A and Player B joined a church through quest and swore loyalty to each other and so on. And they were united as married. We would have a tab similar to the guild and with less sub tabs of course. It would be a mini-guild genre but only for 2 players only. With a point-based participation system. There could also be a ranking of marriages with more points and even people looking for great friendships within the game. With this we would have the wedding buffs area such as:

+5% drop rate

+5% gathering item drop rate

+ 5% combat exp

+5% Life exp

+5% Mount exp etc..

They would have a shared mini Storage too, where they only shared wedding items and where they had the fund collected through quests they could accept and do together very similar to the guild quest system.

With these quest system both could accept unique quests to do the 2 and receive extra rewards such as:

[Combat]

Defeat Ancient Weapons in Hystria Ruins x10000

Reward: 1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

5x 100g Gold bar

50x hunter seal

30M silver on wedding funds

[Life]

Gather x20000 wolf blood

Reward: 1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

2x 100g Gold bar

10x laila's Petal

25M silver on wedding funds

Taming 10x horses

Reward: 1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

2x 100g Gold bar

5x Deep blue hoof root

10M silver on wedding funds

[Trading]

Deliver 20 trade items in Port Ratt

Reward:

1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

5x 100g Gold bar

20x Shiny Golden Seal

25M silver on wedding funds

[Special]

Defeat Kzarka

Reward: 1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

2x 100g Gold bar

1x Kzarka Aura

10M silver on wedding funds

Defeat 20 player in RBF

1x item to craft anything to do with the wedding

2x 100g Gold bar

2x Rbf seal

10M silver on wedding funds

... Won 2x2 Arena Y (in the future) ETC ..

We would also have a tab where we could see where our companion would have their farms with all their information and where we could go there if they are untreated and give a helping hand and take care of their farms thus earning a reward like farming trash loot.

Another tab to see the workers and pets where we could see their status and feed them. Example: Player A was away for the weekend so player B could feed his workers while he was away. Remembering that each player would use their own items to help the other.

Another tab here where both players could invest 1 cp or something like that and could share a residence or even the mansion. Where everyone could place their furniture and move them. Example: Player A places a chair and a table Player B places a board and a bookcase. Player B can move the chairs and table from site but cannot collect them, and Player A can move the table and shelf from site but cannot collect them. In case of cooking/alchemy utensils could be repaired by both since soon we will have some utensil repair bags.

In case of divorce for any reason, each player would be penalized with a percentage of the marriage founds and the remaining money would be split by both 50/50. Example: Match founds contain 1Bill in storage, so 20% would disappear as a fee and that would have 800M left that would be divided by 2. Player A gets 400M and Player B gets 400M and the match is undone. Being able to remarry another person after a day or even a week does not abuse the system.

I know it sounds like a lot and even seems a bit repetitive for some. Who has never had that friend they are closest to? In my opinion it wouldn't have to be boyfriends as I said before, few couples play BDO simultaneously and I don't see the PA doing that or taking the trouble for a minority. Being able to help each other is something I think is really cool. It would be a nice group content in my view. I hope I was explicit and that everyone understood the idea that deep down this is just a suggested idea xD

Remembering that all values and numbers and items are just as an illustration of the idea.

The problem with this idea that it is at some point on some kind of taboo list by PA, they are ignoring like mad any idea of social actions that has been requested for years, they have zero balance in their new content BD could have so much to offer, but PA is just ignoring the potential market with social actions and more, and they are giving the most lazy excuses, they could milk players from money if PA would be smart and brave enough to do the right stuff.

yep, plenty of churches in game, your characters black spirits could officiate (maybe finish the full game quest line and level the BS to max to do so). You could get a title for getting married and one if you get divorced..lol would be funny! lots of couples play BDO and other games! I would love to marry my partner in game. You can already romance the NPC's!

I don't think married couples should get any buffs or rewards or shared anything though. A title is enough.
