As the game has changed in recent years being able to hide trade items on a 2nd character is not a desirable method to use as very few people actually move trade goods by hand and even less then think or care about the risk of losing them on death enough to want to cheese it by hiding a very small amount on their tagged character.
Meanwhile the restrictions hinder normal gameplay for people who do lifeskills on a tagged character. Especially the restrictions to store imperial cooking/alchemy and to store/sell fish make no sense. Being able to create trade goods/fish on a tagged character only for them to get stuck in their inventory with no way of using them without untagging is ridiculous.
In the game's current state there is nothing gained from being able to move trade items on a tagged character compared to moving them on a not tagged character, but the restrictions punish every player regardless.
My proposed solutions are:
-Remove the restriction entirely or
-if that's unwanted by the developer's design philosophy, change the restriction to limit trade items to one tagged character and prevent the other character from picking up/moving them while the 1st character carries any. This would treat the two tagged characters as one character in terms of trading ability.
This should apply to all non-backpack trade goods (fish, kermes beetles (if they still exist), margoria treasure, ancient coins, etc)
Imperial boxes don't even change in value if you move them from one town to another. Restricting tagged characters from turning them in never made any sense
no. tagging is supposed to be a small gimmic, and is not a free reroll to flavor of the month class. stick to your main , then you dont have those problems.
tagging should have way more limitations, to be honest. its already very overtuned. you see zerkers and maegus everywhere.
A good idea would be that you can only tag characters that have finished the whole mainstory (Calpheon, Mediah, Valencia, Kamsylvia, drieghan, loml, etenral winter and odraxia) So people have purpose to redo mainstory on alts.

Just shut up already.
I remember recently, accidentally crafting like 600 imperial cooking boxes and being tagged because it was done on my main character since everyone has the same lifeskill level now. You can't put it in storage while tagged and it's just so miserable. I had to untag my main as a result.
I hope PA fixes this at bare minimum. But like you guys say, if there's no backpack to it, it shouldn't count.
