Please increase number of pets being out to 10

The number of pets being out is far too low to efficiently grind. Moving from pack to pack leaves behind items and potentially huge drops, while standing still affects your momentum and efficiency. I have a full stack of T4 pets with an alpha T5 and it's still too slow to pick up. Please increase the number of pets to 10 and eliminate this artificial ceiling affecting all grinders. If the concern is stacking too many passive pet buffs, you can have a secondary 5 stack that doesn't apply any buffs that can assigned and deployed with your main 5 pets. That way we can have the efficiency of 10 pets while having the buffs of just 5. Thank you for your consideration!

I'd rather one pet loot everything in range. It's dumb they create these limits in the first place. EverQuest has had 1 loot to loot everything for like 20 years, so it's not like there's anything technically stopping them.

Naw, just give pets AoE looting.

Keep the number of pets the same, make it so that there is a base say 5m radius around a player that picks up loot.  If a player gets within 5 meters or whatever Wizard Grab Range is, the loot is picked up.  A T1 pet increases that radius by 1m, a T2 3m, T3 5m, T4 10m, stacking additively.  A T5 pet would then increase the radius by 20%.

It's been a while so I don't know if it's changed or if I am even remembering it correctly.  In WoW you had to manually loot every corpse, then they added "Shift+Loot" that allowed you to loot everything in range.  Then they added a mechanical boomerang that allowed you to target a corpse of a mob a decent distance away to loot it and everything around it.

BDO Pets should be like the boomerang but pick everything up without being told to do so.

They need to make looting faster, but yea loot range is an issue, too. It's crazy to think you can kill stuff faster than your pets can loot. What is the point?

I was thinking the other day, re: looting, that it would be cool if as people leveled up, their pets gained loot speed. It would give you a reason to push levels. I am never gonna benefit from it cuz I'll be lucky to get 63 the way I play, but there are plenty of 66+ people and if their pets looted like 3-5% faster per level or whatever over 61-62, that would be pretty cool.

I am not talking about looting faster,  Simply if a player gets within X distance, where the distance is dictated by the tier of pet, the item is picked up, IE you kill 1 mob within your radius the loot is picked up, if you kill 30 mobs within your radius all 30 mobs loot is picked up(looking at Miurwak here).  The looting check can be done every 3 seconds, just have it pick up everything at one time.

They could balance it out by lessening the odds of something dropping but increasing how many items do drop when they do. That way, your pets can collect everything. Statistically it wouldn't change a thing although technically if your pets didn't always collect everything, it would amount to collecting more.

or just automatically get loot for every mob you kill, like in countless other MMO's (FFXIV for example).  Pet looting should just go away.  Repurpose pets for something else.. stats maybe?
