I've been slowly rerolling my workers and I have the say the current system is quite a nuisance.

First of all, when doing automatic rerolling, why not have an option for the race too? If I want to roll for professional giant, I don't want the reroll to stop for professional humans.

Second, the promotion time needs to be lot shorter, like 3hr max. 7hr is better than 24h but still way too long time when you have 100+ workers waiting for the opportunity for promotion.

Third, you should be able to spend silver for instant promotions. Nobody is going to spend 270+ pearls to skip promotion times in 2024. Just make it another silver sink to combat inflation.

And for the last, the worker skills haven't been touched since the game launched. If something needs simplifying/streamlining/updating, it's the worker skill system. Also the ingame info about worker skills is very vague and cryptic, you have no idea what stacks and what doesn't by looking at the ingame windows. It also should show you the base stats of the worker without the stat gain from the skills.

I agree with you on the first and last points but not the other two.

Workers are a long-term investment for purely passive silver, being able to promote them so fast would just be dumb and would take away a lot of the process. Getting all artisans isn't difficult, sure you'll run into an unlucky patch where you'll fail promotions 5 times in a row but if you really care that much about it pop a promotion in the morning go to work and then do one in the evening for the next morning. If you're wanting to minmax a node or craft with the perfect worker then you should have to put that time investment into it.

A bit more about the skills would be nice and how much a +1 working speed for something actually gives similarly what luck as a trait does when working a specific node etc.
