I came back to the game after a 9 month break, so my memory may be a bit foggy of how this "was". But performance wise, it just seems god awful in comparison to any of the other games I've played.

Simple question. Is there anything I can do to make this game run better during Nodewar/Seige outside of what's listed below. Currently, it plays like a Somalian tire fire.
I've looked at several guides on "how to tweak BDO settings for better war exp" which includes messing with the Nvidia settings. Also following the "Windows optimization" part as well.

Game Settings:
Default Low/Low War/Siege Mode (in full screen, not windowed)
(I've tried every level of this, still runs like a 1 legged dog..)

Hardware:
Asus ROG Z790-E Motherboard
Intel i9 13900k CPU (OCd a bit)
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 CPU Cooler
G. Skill F5 6400 RAM 64G
Asus TUF 4090 OC (pulls around 6500 on Heaven Benchmark testing)
SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB m2 (OS/games storage)
ASUS ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II PSU
Cooler Master HAF 700 E-ATX Case

The game has been around in the US since around 2015 I think, thus I don't know of any "improvements" they can make to it.
Is this just as good as its going to get for BDO? Or am I missing something here?

I tried the same thing

i went with a

i9 13900ks

MSI 4090 gaming trio

i run a 2560x1440 main

i left a

i9 9900k

msi 2080TI

literally the gain of FPS is like

164 fps in remastered to 187-194 fps

and still finding myself running BDO in potato mode during RBF,BA and NW/Siege.

The only reason why it is doing better is that i get a bump in fps on potato do to the preformance of the 13900ks over the 9900k and the freq speed pf the DDR5 over the DDR4..

Litterally BDO runs like dogshit in general has not been optimized or reworked in 6 years it cost me $4000.00 to upgrade and i got literally less than a 20% increase in FPS and quality over all.. i actually went back to my old computer do to stability issues on the 13900ks looks like they are trying to fix it.

I guess the moral of the story is that if your play only BDO no sense in buying an upgrade for what your hopping to be a big preformance boost in game.

I hear ya. I play on a bigger res, 3440x so would prolly get a significant FPS jump in going smaller.
My FPS never really goes that low during NW/Siege, its just the game just starts running like absolute dogshit =/.
I can smell their servers calculating all of the env varibles and melting from my house....
It should be a crime that we can have modern PC's with incaculable more horsepower than that of PCs had when this game was developed and it still sucks in the most enjoyable aspect of the game for me and many others.
