Don't disagree. The problem is PA is trying to separate them without separating them. The game as a whole is being made worse by their changes. I would prefer they went back to the Karma system of 2016 before crystal breaking and downgrades only XP loss. I would not mind if they went back to 2022 karma system. The karma system seems like it is destroying the game more than anything right now.

Well, exp loss seemed clearly overtuned, it allowed some players to be a real nuisance.
For me, good penalties should be temporary, it should lock pkers on the channel, remove them from the spot when they get caught, and gradually weaken players when they get killed until they switch channels or until the death of their killer.

I would think that the traditional gameplay servers would be overcrowded, rather than the PvP restricted servers. Season servers are dead because no one wants to grind when someone can just walk into a rotation you are on and mess with you. They are either in Marni or wont grind on seasons.
Well, I would not consider restricted PvP to be the reason why season servers are empty. Season servers with limited gear are simply not as profitable as normal servers and the amount of season tickets is limited, so people usually just develop their season characters into alts, get the rewards, and then continue to play on normal servers for profit... like me. This takes 6 hours of gameplay max. And this is why season servers are empty. So I would not base the expectation that PvP restricted normal servers would be less populated on this observation.
The concept of season servers looks good on paper but interest never lasts beyond a couple seasons due to a lack of a completely new and fresh experience. It just becomes another chore that is added onto a to-do list. With how much Black Desert has been improved for the new and early-game player (e.g 11 hours of Marni's Realm), season servers don't need to exist. The Tuvala gear progression system and other season server based systems could easily be integrated to function in the normal servers without the need for specialised servers.

If we were to have pure pve servers, then toxic ppl will grief to the absolute max cause there is nothing you can do about it.
So newer or lower geared players wont be able to grind in peace on pve servers due to toxic little ***** and they wont go to pvp servers cause they know they will be farmed. So either way they will be ******
