Hello, what is the evasion build being gutted aspect? He didn't lose any evasion.
From the very early things I've heard, WIzard keeps the innate DR while in Super Armor on top of the 10% global reduction that every classes gets. Seems pretty alright given that Wizard awakening in hybrid setup deals more damage already than Witch awakening in damage build in AoS and everywhere else.
from what i see from glabs patchnotes, we lost viability for whole staff tree, we lost arne 20 dr buff, class is still immobile piece of shit with zero actual fixys we asked for.

Yeah... This is rough for the staff. At least there is a 25% accuracy boost, but versus DR... Pre-Absolute Fireball explosion and Risidual Lightning were doing respectively 49,8% and 55.4% more damage in PvP than the Absolute counterpart, both had 0% accuracy rating. It does not compensate fully at all.
IN ADDITION, they also broke Awakening Casters Pet CC (Pet Stiffness, wasd + RMB pet command) by removing its multi-hit cc component and made it follow the Summon CC attempts rulings where the pet does not use your Ignore Resistance stats and roll against the player's PvE resistances. Meaning that a player in AoS running Hooms and Sailing crystals is going to have 72% stun resistance against your pet CC attempts and there is nothing you can scale to negate that. Awakening Casters and Succession Nova were exempted from this; not it's only the Nova.
This is quitting material in my opinion.

100% dmg mit vs 90% dmg mit on evade is huge when your sole survivability mech is evading the damage.
i keep hearing about the "innate DR" that no one can provide any actual documentation on, other than "trust me bro". So Ima pass on the "bro science" until I see something factual on it.
I cant speak for Witch dmg as Ive never had the desire to play the class. However,if they're trying to match dmg between the classes why in TF would they not match mitigations(on official docs, not bro science) That being said, yea, this is definite "quit again" material

Here you go. Fresh from the oven. Thunderstorm, Pet Swaps seem to have a damage reduction effect of about 10-15%. Maybe it's DR effect. But there's something. Test on live servers; not global lab.

My test companion didn't have the endurance to check Voltaic Pulse or Barrage.

The Wizard has a grab the witch not. The wizard has split TP the witch not.
The Witch is supposed to be the tankier class. You know "Rock = Tanky" and Witch has the Q block.
Will be fine, both classes get small buff cause of the 25% global accuracy, which is btw a GIGA buff for Succession, and awakening its above average either (Old was 20-30, while flows where 10-30) so the flows will be better now too!
