Why only Korea gets to be part of the feedback process in some of the Global Lab updates?

Why don't you include NA/EU and any other region to get more accurate, diverse feedback before implementing a feature that the entire region hates? It's about time to address this unfairness. A global game should allow players from ALL regions to test the upcoming changes regardless of what they are.

Did PA remove NA/EU from being able to use the global labs?

came here to say the same thing. new patch gets rolled out first only in Korea so only they get to give feedback? And then the rest of the world has to go off whatever the Korean players decide the game should be? I guess PA doesn't care about the opinion of anyone not Korean

Just now figuring this out? It's a feature, not a bug at this point lol

cause EU/NA people are way more emotional then korean. if EU/NA people would balance this game, it would be same desaster as New World...

its better to keep the balance for the koreans, where the devs are, they know what they doing. and they also have more knowledge, simple cause the game is released there for a longer time.

For example:

EU/NA people think Witch class is op, while korean people say Witch classs is still to weak...

EU/NA people always act like "if this one guy who perfectly plays it and has 200fps is op, then we need to nerf the class for everyone"... -> which would be horrible approach.

While Korea people are way more factual when it comes to game balance. the whole mentality is different there.

I mean just look at this forums, the best ideas ever created gets downvoted (when the same idea got implement cause in korea someone had similar idea and everyone liked it), only cause its not by "popular streamer".. EU/NA people disagree on stuff just for the sake of disagreeing. even if the idea has no downsites/cons. -> Emotional Feedback! The korean playerbase usualy dont have the "i struggled, so everyone else need strugle too mentality".

tldr. : e.g. "This is a janna idea, so i just downvote to trigger her" ... that toxic emotional mentality doesnt exist in korean.  (also cause auf privacy/law reasons[ID verification])

I would like to remind everyone that Janna does not speak on behalf of the witchey community... what's left of it anyway.

@OP, its possibly because, theoretically, they want to get the worst of the worst bugs out before it comes to NAEU as they know we'd create much more backlash over it... but that's being generous to PA.

Lol, this is some mental gymnastics if Ive ever seen it.
First of all, NW is a disaster due to multiple issues thst are solely the developers fault, not because of player feedback. Moreover, NA/EU pvp much more than KR, so theyre in a better position to comment on if a class is doing well or not. This also ignores the inherent META differences in each region as well.

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

If the goal is to find bugs and fix them before implementing them in the live version, then wouldn't it be more beneficial to allow players outside of Korea to test these new features as well? Global labs server is a testing environment, so the expectations that there should be bugs should be clear.

The main idea is to allow players from all regions to submit feedback so that their feedback collection is more diverse. In this manner, they can start addressing each issue by identifying overlaps/common feedback that were brought up by each region. Plus, let's not forget that NA and EU make up a big portion of Black Desert's player base...

Greetings Silvery,

Following the update on December 17 in 2023, it has been made possible for all Adventurers in NA/EU to register an account on the Global Lab so that everyone can access this server to provide feedbacks on the updates made.

You simply need to copy over the information of your account to the Global Lab server. To do so, you need to first register an account on the Global Lab then copy your account's information which you can all do through the in-game menu ESC > Adventurer Support (F11) > Global Lab (2).

You can find more information in the following Update Details.

Thank you.
