You can make the ocean content less boring by introducing brand new mounts for ocean. Such as,

1. Sea Horse, looks exactly like a real life Sea Horse which is a Horse to ride on water basically. Affordable for everyone like land horses. 

2. Kraken, a giant sea creature to ride on. Can dive underwater, also can be used in combat.

I would love to see more varity in mounts, but sadly I do not think PA even remotely cares. The ferrica mounts are already in the game and yet PA ignores the player base about them.

Eh, IDK. As long as it doesnt make boats obsolete. Like you'd need to get a boat to grind whatever thing first to get one of these mounts, say. I mean i guess if they don't have cargo it leaves the boats relevant but i dont know.... If they can attack boats anyway they would need to be a lot less powerful than a carrack, not to mention slower (no nol on sea mounts), otherwise you got pvpers just going around the sea map in groups of those slaughtering barterers. So basically you'd have to make them not that interesting to use which would mean it wouldn't do anything for sea content. Also kinda bad making T10 diné irrelevant, to a degree anyway.

but it's a pipe dream either way, obviously. As mentioned there's not even any creature available to ride on land so...

First buff fishing boats, rowboats etc...

And how does it make  the sea fun?  You have carracks or sea mounts, it doesn't change anything at all. Sea is dead, there is no content. Just water =)))) 

I agree that sea mounts would be cool. But you actually say to developers that we have great ocean and we just need mounts, so don't work on content, just give  to us another useless transport.
