Not sure how Ray Charles got employed from the grave, but you guys somehow managed to do it.
First, damage feels about the same, so you managed to get that right.
Second, I haven't tested DR, so I can't comment.
However, when it comes to Evasion, the ball got dropped into a blackhole.
425DP/1000 evasion, will get you killed at U GYFIN if you're not paying attention.
Pre-change, I could fall asleep there.
I don't know who was in the room when the decision was made to nerf Wiz DR on SA by 15% on most skills, down to 10%, while SIMULATANOUESLY BUFFING almost every single other classes DR in SA, but they don't need to be in the next meeting...

Video speaks for itself my guy. Zero issues grinding there 6 days ago.
They nerfed our DR while in SA AND made the monsters stronger in this patch. If the goal was to gut the class using evasion, they've successfully done it. Moreover, in the same gear, but using DR, the difference would be alot less evasion and +38 total DR. Nothing game changing.
The DR bonus in SA nerf AND the increase in monster AP id whats clapping me. Not so much that its an evasion vs dr build.
At minimum the class +DR% in SA should be on par with Awakened Witch, if not more.
Also, if you're gonna downvote a post, strictly related to another class's PVE mechanics, at least include a comment regarding how many power lines you've lived under and what volume of paint chips you ingest on a daily basis.

It's not fine because PA didn't think about the "rebalance" for PvP would have such a negative impact on PvE with some classes heavily dependent on skill. I guess this really is a skill issue.
They definitely messed up PvE in high end spots for some classes.
I tested Tungrad today on awa witch and succ maegu.
For maegu, I noticed positve change in accuracy, don't even need acc crystals anymore. That's about positives.
Negatives: it felt that my hp-leech skills, which previously were just fine to sustain my healing along with infinite pot and occasional rabam heal, ceased to exist. I've experienced as well strange skill input delay and felt like @HitStaggerBad said on forgetting how to play your class over 1 night xD I died 5 times/7b crystal loss.
For witch, frontal guard is melting like butter in hand. It feels as well very annoying with skill input lags but doesn't feel that hard like on faster paced classes. I don't mind witch having to use Q or more heals to earn her grind, but it just feels stupid to die being stuck in a pointless, unprotected, uncancellable animation because skill transition is poorly designed and tested.
I don't get the reason behind nerfing evasion cos some classes were immortal. Now other classes are immortal, other blast you off the surface like no effort, and with others you are having a pillow fight xD

Yea, I felt the clunkiness in skill rotations as well, but thats likely a result of animations not being adjusted to the new hit counts.
My main issue was still the Monster AP increase with the simulataneous +DR% in SA reduction. They tuned up the monster AP waay to much.
I've tried to keep away from the PVP aspect of it because they've made it clear they want the gear gap felt there.
Right, wrong, or indifferent, that's what they apparantly wanted, so be it for now.
However, the impacts to people who were happily grinding where they have been for months now should have been planned and accounted for.
Althought I have very little faith in PA, I can't fathom that their plan was to move the goal post so far out that you now how to grind at lower areas just to go back to grinding where you were as some form of progression content. That's just sadistic...
Currently, everyone is so preoccupied with how bad the gear disparity is prevelent in pvp, I honestly don't know if they'll do something about it. Its an easy fix, remove the monster AP increase. Its just going to make top end people more tankier against the mobs, not increase their trash/hr, so an inflationary spike isn't going to happen as a result of that revert.
This will at least ease the suffering of the people affected by it until they find a better solution.
I totally agree with you. It's patently unfair to people who put good faith effort and time into the classes, and it makes all the work they did balancing the classes for PVE last year seem like a ridiculous waste of time. Unless they are able to right the ship quickly, I'm going to start looking for another game. I play both Witch and Wizard and the benefits to witch does not give me any condolences for them gutting wizard's protection, as wizard is the class who has to be closer to do the majority of his damage. I honestly feel we should have kept a small dp after tp bonus too. For so many of us its part of how we play. So if you give me a choice between learning my class over or reducing hours on BDO I'll take the latter. This reshuffling of things not broken is getting very, very old.
