Another big problem i see with this patch is that these ulta tanky classes get to enjoy full elixir rotations without the fear of losing it.
This is yet another major disadvatage for every other class that cannot reach this level of survivability. And therefor can not do that or only with immense costs.
The number of people running full elixir rotation increased so much in the past days and its mostly the tanky classes.
Not only do these classes become even more tanky by that, they also get a significant bosst in their own damage output and their ability to regenerate their hp.
Just another point why the patch was absolutely not thought through, and reqires a complete rework.

I hate to tell you this, but people playing a tanky class in PVP were already running an elixir rotation before the patch as well. Id also argue a class that does a lot of damage may benefit more from a rotation helping them survive rather than a class that is already tanky but not doing a lot of damage in the first place. Mainly iframe classes like Sorcs, Ninjas, Kunos... Really anything that blinks around in super armor.
While it is true that it was a thing before, i see it way more now, and as i said especially on high dr classes.
Also the problem is not that someone uses them, the problem is that especially now already nearly unkillable classes benefit even more from it. And therefore actually become unkillable.
Fighting a valk with 500 DP and full elixir rota now is just impossible. You could say it was hard before but i can tell you, before the patch i was able to actually kill them even if it was hard, it was possible. Now 5 people hit them and they indle in SA Block and after a cc they stand up heal with heal skill and if they use skills they even regenerate HP by hitting you in a way that outheals any damage.
But i guess Zerker likes that. Because he is a winning class in this patch.
In the point that offensive classes benefit too. Yes of course offensive classes benefit from elixir rotation, why would they not. But, if i were to use, and i tried, a full (useful) rota on my darkknight it helps a bit. But not much and i have to rebuff them all 1 Minute because unless i do noting but poking i will die quickly. And thats not even a "me problem", i see qsushy classes die left and right even after this patch.
Tanky classes just live in another world right now.

Every other class cant reach the survivability of tanks so therefore revert the patch lmao. When assassins were tankier than tanks and tanks couldnt be tanks and fight eva players like a few days ago where was your feedback? People who are min maxing were running elixir rotas before and after this patch, not sure what that has to do with anything. Oh I get it, new patch also forced everyone to use them now, youre right, revert it. Silly me.
Also, if you wanted every class in the game to be able to do the same thing, you should try world of warcraft. I hear there is a new expansion dropping soon.

Again though... you are complaining about classes that are able to survive. These are not the classes killing you. Being able to survive doesnt mean the class does a lot of damage and kills you. You should be complaining that there are classes like Awaken Sage, Ranger, Musa that are able to one combo high DR targets even in this meta.
It would be neat if all consumables used while in RBF gained the "immortal: persists through death" effect. I could see problems if they did that, though: FIrst, if they make consumables in RBF immortal, why not other modes, why not for all PvP deaths? And if they do that, then that would have to go along with some kind of alchemy/economy rebalance, because things seem to work based on players burning through draughts/elixirs/perfumes rapidly during combat. Plus, the loss of a few million silver worth of consumables and some prep time needed to sort them around in your storage/inventory is one of the only real death penalties in this game. It stings to lose a row of elixirs and a perfume, but that's the point.
If they make consumables all immortal for PvP deaths, I feel like they'd have to also rebalance consumable costs/materials to account for that. That's not to say they shouldn't try - I think it's interesting.
It's not a huge problem but as a fellow guy who dies often, I get where you're coming from. In the meantime, you could try using Indignations. They give a lot of damage in one consumable so you won't have to go back to market/storage to restock a row of elixirs every night of RBFs if you use something like that, and the DR/eva loss, while that loss sucks in open world or normal PvP, RBF is so chaotic and has so many little weird DR rules happening that it doesnt seem to matter as much.

Succession musa would like a word with you.
op your issue is with buff leaving after death, not with the patch.
"but he has and i want too" is not a good argument.

Again, you can not understand what problems squishy glass cannon classes face right now, because you play a meta class, if Zerker is actually your main. You have completely other perspective because you are at least medium tanky and with the right gear become realy tanky.
We glass connons now can not deal any damage to certain classes and on contrary to what you said, a indestructible Valk absolutely can kill us. Ah no its not only Valk its also, Warrior, Zerker, Drakania, Striker, Succ Nova.
But you can not understand this because you only die to high dmg classes, Dark Knight for example still dies to everything.
Also why you die doesn't even matter in this Thread because its not about who kills who, ist about elixir rotation and it would be nice if the dicussion would stick to the topic now. And my stance still is that super tanky classes benefit way more from it right now to a point where the can run it 100% of the time wil low cost and mekes them even more ridiculous. Nothing said could change my mind until now.

This and also what Veltas wrote.
Of course that would fix the problem and even out the field on the elixir front. But realisticly this wont happen.
It's not a big problem of course, i probably prased that wrong because everybody could run full elixirs all the time even squishy classes.
But it comes down to very high DP / Tanky classes pay one rota per RBF, and others like me pay over 10 times that. Did not actually count my deaths. And that on top of all the other problems we glass connons face right now just makes it feel even worse.
