I don't want to make this a long ranting post so I'll just get straight to the point.

I always love Bows as weapons when I play mmorpg games and with BDO it's the same story. So naturally, Archer was always my first pick, except....after days of playing him I reroll to another class because he just frustrates me with how bad he is.

let me explain what I mean with "bad":

 
• His dmg was already lacking and now after the dr/eva rework, it just doesn't do any dmg to tank classes while they just ram through us like we're paper.

•He can kite, yeah sure, but am I supposed to just jump around and sweat and keep ooosing HP while doing it? All meanwhile making no dmg at all.

•Archer is a ranged class...fhen why everytime we CC someone if we want to burst them we need to close in almost to melee range? That just makes zero sense. Archer's playstyle is stay at a range and shoot enemies from far away. If enemy comes closer you kite away and then shoot. The archer in bdo is more melee oriented than range if you ask me which just doesn't seem right.

•Can PA fix the dmg that won't register if the player shoots from a hill or higher ground? Not all skills, but still some of them only do dmg in a straight line horizontally, so if the enemy is a bit bellow they won't get dmg/cc. Another case where I'd need to close in range to apply dmg/cc from a "ranged skill" which again, makes zero sense.

•Tankiness of archer is fine, in fact...I really don't mind the squishiness since it's the same in all games I played before. But cmon, make up for it in a way so that archer can deal some dmg or kill from range. 

•Kite Kite Kite, all we do is kite. I love Arena of Solare and sure, I have times where I can be quite a good asset to the team but 80-90% of times is the opposite. I get targeted right away from the start, meaning, let the kite begin and hope for no SA/FG gaps or else I'm dead. Why is it so hard to make idk, One invincible skill like the spacebar skill where we jump over targets. It has 5sec cd, I'm fine with that, make it invincible and SA while on cd. 

Before most of you start coming at me with "just don't play archer if you can't deal with how bad he is"...I love his playstyle and yes, I want to play him and I want to enjoy him as it was meant to be but once you see the numbers in AoS mostly after many rounds where you die nonstop, make 20% of the dmg your teammates make by simply spamming 1,2,3 skills and repeat....It just makes sense to me that archer needs a proper rework from A-Z and if you think Archer is fine as it is, why is no one playing him? i barelly see archers anywhere. People that play archers play them cause they hope for a better future for them and that a good rework might fix them. I believe it can be done but I had this frustration since weeks now and this whole DR/Eva rework just made it worse so I had to say something

sorry for the long post, all I want to say is please, PA, take some time to fix our archer boy and make him feel more like a " oh yeah, archer is actually very good" class and not " nahh dude, don't play archer" kind of class.

I playing as an archer since it came out. All PA did to him all time was either COMPLETELY ignore class or kill him. Why this class was introduced into the game at all is a mystery to me. They raised ugly, uninteresting Zerk to heaven (lol he also copes with our task better than we ourselves). So the excuse “koreans only like women’s beautiful classes” does not work here. Also, other range classes feel if not great, then at least normal. Why PA has such dislike for archer is still a question. A class completely forgotten by everyone, which PA remembers only when ALL classes are changed, or when we need to be weakened even more. Throughout his existence, archer has never received INDIVIDUAL improvements. While other classes are steadily being redesigned. Getting stronger somewhere, weakening somewhere. But not an archer...

Archer damage lacking before dr/eva patch? Dream on. Archer was one of the hardest fragging classes prepatch and easiest to do it on.

Fragging? Maybe you confused it with "kill stealing"? Archer really succeeded in this.
