I've got to ask, what exactly does succession drakania bring to the table now? When considering the reworks. Most classes do more damage than my full ion skills hits, with less total AP and no need for an additional ressource management (i.e. Ions). Also when considering the animation lock/cast time of succession skills, by the time I've used 1 skill, just about any other class has utilized 2-3 skills.
I'm at 698+51 human total main AP, with villa, food, church and giant. For a baseline. It feels extremely awkward....
Edit:
I need a full 18 ions to kill a single target in a 1v1. That's the entire bank of ions for succession drakania and that if I engaged Full. This includes using PEN taebeck and E buff. Even with the additional 60ap, against a similarly geared individual. If I do not have full Ions, I can't kill them. And even with full Ions, I need to successfully proc a downsmash to even have a chance.
What is the purpose of this class now.
100% the class needs a major buff and rework. the whole IONS thing feels broken af.
She has skills that list upwards of 20k attack power that hit for next to no damage.
Is her IONS mechanic based around being at 18 IONS? or as long as you have 3? Im still trying to figure it out 6months later and i just gave up trying to figure out why she cant hit enemies in Aakman/Hysteria with 595total ap.
yeah buff dk /insert long whine post
On Drakania though, no idea but I'd just re-roll. That seems to be the case where they buff and nerf certain classes, it sucks and I feel you on it but if its really bad then what else can you do.
Valid question, unfortunately. I love this spec but it's in a sad state. All the ion generation skills are begging to be cced/grabbed. And then when you finally do manage to get some ions, you're hitting at best the level of awakening hexeblood skills damage. Succ drak really needs to be reworked soon, both for pve and pvp.
You're absolutely right, I've been playing Drak since its release and I can tell you that the class has been progressively abandoned by the developers, perhaps eclipsed by the awakening, the current situation of the Succ Drak is dramatic and is in a disgusting state in PvE and PvP well you've already said it all you ahah, after 3 years I rerolled to the Dosa I enjoy it much more because I already know that there will be no changes on my love Drak, I'm very sorry but if you want advice change class because things won't change.
