I have two carracks and 20 slots for sailors. I find the sailors menu really confusing.

When I decide to sort and reassign the sailors, the menu is messy, the sailor list is scattered, no indication who is who, which one is used on which ship. 

My suggestion is

To create a button for easy grouping in sets, similar to the pet groups.

To add text – which sailor type is it, for example innocent, quick, etc. A button for filtering the sailors depending on which ship they are currently boarded on.
