Suggestions/Comments: Please remove the day/night cycles from all NPCs. Its so annoying when you need a service or something for a quest, and the NPC is not there due to their day/night cycles. In that case you have to wait up to 40 minutes to proceed.
Day/night cycles of NPCs make sense in single player games when you can wait or somehow make time pass faster. In an MMO its more of a nuisance than a feature or realistic take.
This annoyance has been in the game in the past 10 years, please remove it already.
Note: Of course, there are exceptions, where the day/night cycle matters, for example, the NIGHT vendor. I'm talking about generic NPCs like vendors, or quest NPCs where this cycle is not necessary at all.
Please, this right here. Imagine needing to go to a blacksmitch at 2AM to close BDO right before going to bed on a weekend or sth but not being able to cause said NPC is, ironically, sleeping.

Can you not just close BDO and talk to the blacksmith when you come back?
I get that it can be annoying when you are questing, but if you need to repair, stable keepers and wharf managers can also do that. The blacksmiths only monopolize extraction.

Well, yes, thats an option, sure, but its still bad game design, and it needs to be changed.
The main issue is with the quest NPCs, as it can cause confusion/annoyance for new players if they can't find the quest NPC.
I find the realism charming. Maybe to keep it around, if you have a quest to turn in, you could interect with their sign that "wakes them up to let you turn in your quest. Then they "go back to bed", and the sign is just there.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this issue only in Heidel, with the blacksmith and the Serendian stable closing for the night?
There's some NPCs in Velia too, but for minor quests.

Realism is nice, until it causes functional issues. However, your suggestion is not bad either, just let me hand in my quest.

Also several sidequest NPCs in Calpheon.
