I propose a small change to spirit blaze: flow, a targetted buff towards small scale (3v3s such as AoS).

Storytime
For some context, spirit blaze: flow used to be a super armour knockdown ability, which had the super armour removed as part of a huge patch of rebalancing protections with CCs (this was around 2017-2018, I honestly can not remember anymore), leaving the skill sort of dead due to the CC system being very different to what it is now (e.g. you could not perform a follow up CC with a knockdown on a target that is already grabbed/bounded/floated/knocked down).

After the CC changes were made, this skill became a rather good niche to a few DKs to provide a way of applying a re-cc knockdown in 1v1/smallscale (you could use it on hotbar from pre awakening and awakening, unlike kamasylve slash).

For some reason, the knockdown was replaced with a 30% downsmash, during a targetted "buff" patch to DK, sort of stunning the community since no one asked for such a change and it has been left like that ever since, actively made redundant in pvp for no apparent reason.

The skill now has no CC or protection, its relatively slow and offers very low damage whilst taking up a slot in awakening's kit.

Suggestion

I propose, that core: spirit blaze is replaced with core: spirit blaze: flow, adding super armour to the skill.
Secondly, remove the downsmash and add back the knockdown

My reasoning

Dark knight possesses only ONE knockdown in her entire kit, which is only accessible via preawakening, is highly close range and is just slow and unreliable (as well as putting yourself in a lot of danger for no good reason).

Succession possesses an upgraded version of kamasylve slash, which is good enough as a knockdown skill, plus the bonus of not having to switch forms, of course.

Awakening has a rather bad time in AoS, partly due to all of her useful CCs being floats and a bound, which is an annoyance for your team, since you cut down the lethality your team has on a successful play, resulting in a natural disadvantage.

This change only targets this kind of content, it will give awakening a way of opting for a protected way of re-applying knockdown when your team needs it, as such with most other classes.

The change wouldn't have much impact on 1 on 1 fights, as well as larger scale fights (unless you want to run in and die, of course) and it will not magically make her a fantastic pick for high levels of AoS play, but it is at least a good start in the right direction for this type of content.

TL;DR: core: spirit blaze -> core: spirit blaze: flow for super armour, remove downsmash from spirit blaze: flow and add back knockdown
