The main reason why I bought Daily Special pass in the past - It had unique mask / pets. Something You can't get normally. Now - same stuff You can just buy in the pearl shop, so why would I?

Yeah, this one easily has the worst paid rewards yet. Guess that's fine, saves me 3,500 pearls I would've spent if it had been more like previous passes.
