Slows, Wizard, Witch Changes for Consideration

there's a saying about game development that goes something like... when a player tells you they're not happy, they're always right.  But when a player tells you what you should change to make them happy, they're usually always wrong.  So with that in mind lets talk about BDO
 
Overview:
 
With the introduction of successions to Black Desert, the playerbase has suffered from an oppression of ranged damage and slows.  Slows used to be something that you could skillfully avoid if you moved away from them (like the last hit of grave digging or before a berserkers devastation), but now they are an inevitable debuff that you face anytime you are in range of pvp, and it is extremely frustrating for everyone.  This type of gameplay isn't fun for a game that prides itself on fast-paced combat and needs to be removed from all classes.
 
Wizard and Witch are far too strong, and the playerbase has been asking for balance changes for over a year.  Witchards can engage and disengage at-will, slow you and burst you with protected ranged damage, reduce their damage taken with mana shield/PA, and instantly teleport away and heal to full health to do it all over again.  The longer these classes remain unchanged, the more players gravitate to them in order to enjoy the game again, but this has only compounded the problem.
 
If a class has everything, (protected damage, debuffs, mobility, healing, utility) what do you change?  There is no nerf that will feel good to a player that loves their character, but something has to be done for the sake of all other players that want to enjoy pvp again.
 
Let them keep their protected ranged damage and mobility, and remove their utility and healing and give it to Shai.  Not only do these changes help balance the Witchard problem, it also makes Shai a very valuable class.
 
 
Balancing classes is never easy, and there is never a way to please everyone.  But here is how I would fix the current state of BDO.
 
 
  • -Remove all movement speed debuffs from all skills and classes
  • -Remove all cast/attack speed debuffs from all skills and classes
  • -Movement/cast/attack speed debuffs from add-ons remain
 
WIZARD / WITCH
 
  • -Magical Shield- No longer reduces damage by 25%
  • -Meteor- Stiffness removed from all versions of this skill including absolute, primes and BSR.  Forward Guard changed to Super Armor.
  • -Healing Lighthouse- Skill removed
  • -Sage's Light- Skill removed
 
SHAI
 
  • -(New Skill) Orb of Light- Recovers HP by 30% of Max WP.  20% of Max HP recovered to friends nearby.  Recover Max 3 times.  MP Recovery +150
  • - (New Rabam Skill) Hide and Seek!- preceding skills: Orb of Light & Come Out, Come Out.  Increased move speed for 10 seconds, reveals stealthed players while healing friendly players.  +10 DP for 10 seconds to self.  Super Armor.

Most people want the Meta to change. the request is legitimate.
My concern is that it would be smart to think about the meta that will come afterwards.

Now Concerning Wizard and Witch. i doupt that remove something that they always had since forever is a good idea.

In my Opinion
The probleme actualy with wiz succ and witch succ is the deliberate exception of the Succesion rule.

The fact that there is a choice of skill proves that PA did not know what thier are doing, and we ended up offering more heavily good *choices* than all the other Succession. Breaking the rule.
The only Meteor that would exist is the Focus one.

Blizzard -=> Domaine.
Fireball Explosion ->Area.
Lightning Storm -> Combo.
Frigid Fog -> Control.
Earthquake -> Destruction.
Earth's Response -> Destruction.

By correcting this no-legit variant skill that the wizard and witch will be legit by following the other Succession rule.
We do not touch the skill, we simply remove what is outside the rules. the surplus that should not have existed in the first place.
With this indirect nerf,(by choosing the valid non optimal choices for some skill aka the real skills that should only exist) Which is in fact a design correction.


Regarding the slow stacking.

Like poisons/bleed, only the highest should be effective. Easy fix without realy removing anything ^^.
