1. You mean the flaw of the behavior of the general community in this game. Being worst on newbies and lowbies than the infamous Eve Online?

2. Or the flaw where forced PvP is hidden from newbies and lowbies for a small amount of time?

3. Or the flaw in which PvE only servers are highly in demand? To the point quite a bit of players are willing to only play BDO for seasonal PvE like gameplay.

4. Or the flaw in which gearing up to be PvP ready in this game has become so much of a hassle that many just want to forgo it altogether? Which I personally believe leaves no point to playing BDO. Because you can get a much better Action MMO PvE experience elsewhere.

So which one was you talking about?

Numbered them to address them individually.

1.  Pure opinion, not fact. moving on.

2.  This was a horrible oversight and should be reverted, Olvia and Future Seasonal servers should not have PvE only protection, it would fix this problem instantly and prevent the whining for a PvE server.

3.  Not in high demand, more like requested by the vocal minority.  I would say less than 1% of the actual playerbase wants a full PvE server.  Only the people that have something to whine about tend to go to the forums.

4.  They litterally give out what was softcap 2 years ago so that new players can be at the baseline, they are not starting at Green Accessories and +10 green armor/weapons, they are starting out at Tri.5 boss gear and Tri gold accessories.  A new account can be over 600 gear score in a month where as 2 years ago, that was 3 years work.  The "Problem" is that people who are bran new are trying to go to the "BEST" spots in the game and wondering why they are getting their ass kicked.  It's because they really shouldn't be at stars end or it's equivilant with their gear.  If those "newer" players were to go to gear appropraite spots like Aakman, Hystria, and the like they would see good PvP.

There are 2 flaws with seasonal servers, they don't teach players to pay attention because PvP is disabled, and it doesn't teach new players how to succeed after the season is done.

True I won't lie there.

However there is a huge disconnect with #4. While it's true a P2W or RNG carried account can get to 600GS in a month. These accounts that are not are in those two brackets, are looking at a average of a 3,000 hour grind to get from 550GS to be PvP viable. That's around 3,000 hours looking at the same monsters just to get your stats high enough to compete at money maker spots. I'm willing to bet that was a huge turn-off for anyone coming from Western MMOs where you are not RNG-gated in PvE and PvP but skill-gated. Which I'm guessing was a majority of players who tried BDO out during Seasons.

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

Thankfully they have a dozen other PvE MMO's to choose from if they arent happy with BDO's systems.

Very true, and I think we should push this narrative. So they don't ruin BDO's forced PvP, but instead quit and go somewhere more to their liking.

What year are you playing BDO that made you come to this conclusion?  2018?  These numbers you gave do not match reality, least, in 2021.  Couple things right off the bat:

3,000 hours of grind?  Wow.  Ok.  Lets' break this down, shall we?  Say you make a measly 100 million silver per hour.  550 GS, let's say a generic 300 DP, which leaves 250 AP, which is good enough for Aakman and Hystria on some classes, Kratuga, and Manshaums.  Players can easily make 150 million+ at these some of these spots, but let's say a super easy, super pleb, super lazy 100 mil. per hr.

3K hours at 100 mil = 300,000,000,000.  That's 300 BILLION silver = 20 PEN items at 15 bil each.  Lol?  This doesn't even count the silver players get for FREE from events, which are always happening.  You pulled these number outta your ass.  You don't need 300 billion silver to be "baseline viable" lul?

> Without you defiing what "baseline viable" is, I'll take it up a few notches and grossly OVERestimate what "baseline viable" is (pretty lacking to say actually, so many scenarios where being "viable" is dependant on different factors.  IE: T1 node wars?  Literally soft cap and you'll be good, like 550 GS.).  Let's say to "catch up with the top 5%", how about that?  Grossly, grossly overestimating what "baseline viable" is.  And even by overestimating, it's still WAY less than 3k hours of grind.

As a gross overestimation, let's say you want full PEN armor + weapons and full TET gold accessories. Full PEN boss armor + weapons, at 15 billion each (NA, close to average price of a PEN boss/TET BS), TET Tungrad Earrings, TET Crescent Rings, TET Ogre Ring, TET Basilisk Belt.  This will cost you around 140,000,000,000 silver (taking the base price of these items from the CM).  Top end gear, way over what's "baseline viable" you like to spew.  And it isn't even half of your projected "3,000 hours of grinding the same mobs".

Now, lets' subtract a TET Crescent Ring, the TET Basi and a TET Tung earring, if players played through Season and got the VCapotias.  That reduces the total price of full PEN + TET accs to 126,200,000,000.  At a grossly UNDERestimated hourly income of 100 mil, that's 1,262 hours of monster grinding.  Let's say a player makes a pleb level of daily income >> 300 mil per day.  To reach full PEN armor + weapons and full TET gold accs, that's 420ish days.  A few months over one year.  To go from soft cap all the way up to the gear the top 5% (or so) have.  At a pleb level of daily income.  WAY above what actually is "baseline viable", and it's more than half less effort than your pulled-out-of-ass projection.

This doesn't even include free silver from events, attendance rewards, Oasis Boxes, BSA rolls, etc.

"Baseline viable" v(-_-)v "Viable" against what?  Open world?  Where are you grinding?  Viable for Node Wars?  What tier?  Viable for what???  Viable for lifeskilling?  There's so many facets to this game, a willy nilly thing like you're saying misses so many points.  Just throw out a Gear Score (AP/DP) you think is "baseline viable" along with the GS at which we're starting from, and I'll tell you how long it'll take and how to get to that GS.

Also, grinding mobs isn't the only way to make silver.  BDO is pretty darn sandboxy, so there's a bunch of different combination of things a player can do to make money.  You're way off and missing a lot of details, but it's expected, purely because we all know how much you don't like BDO.

There's no single game that is good for everyone.

No idea how much he's played in the past year, but we can at least tell he played Season 3 as Nova, Season 2 as Hash, and Season 1 as Guardian.  No sage made, so that tells me that he stopped after graduation from Season 3 and didn't start back up when PA took over.

As to how much he's grinded, I doubt it's anywhere near the 3k hours he's claimed, especially since his "main" is one of the more broken Grinders in the game requiring stupidly low gear to do high end spots.

If it takes a player 3,000 active hours to reach 600 GS, they're doing something very, very wrong.

Might want to check on that ToS, I thought that was only for Family names and Guild names, where as Character names didn't have to adhere to that as long as the name wasn't vulgar.

You may be right and if so I apologise to the person I responed to.
