None of the following will be asking for damage. Instead its mostly protection and increasing the flow of skills.

 

Add Superarmor to the overcharge of "Lightning Surge" and reduce the cooldown to 2~3 seconds.

Add Instant Cast as overcharge to "Divine Executioner". If that isn't possible add "Spear Bolt", "Aftershock" & "Impaling flash" to the list of Instant cast skills. 

Allow usage of "Divine Executioner" and "Impaling flash" in Preawakening via Hotkey.

Add a buff icon to "Radiant Annihilation" that allows the player to see how long the Arkanon Effect persists and increase the duration to perhaps 4 seconds.

Add "Ator's Spear" and "Radiant Annihilation" to the list of instant cast skills for "Aftershock". 

Add Ability to cancel the dash animation after teleporting with "Spear Bolt" & "Aftershock" by using "Bolt" or add iframe/superarmor to the dash. 

Add Electrocution/ Attack&Castspeed Slow to "Chain Lightning".  

 

I assume "Chain Lightning" was added to aggro/taunt mobs in PvE. Therefore a movementspeed slow is not preferred.

The damage of Sage awakening is pathetic to say the least. While u need the entire awakening skill set to kill a mob in Sycraia, u can kill same mobs with 2-3 skills from pre-awakening. And im saying that from 303KT AP.

Either his AOE abilities (Shift + F/ Shift +LMB) have split damage like Ranger's shotgun skill, or the damage numbers are just wrong.

- U can get grabed in mid-air of your Divine Executioner (Shift +Q) - Exactly after the iFrame from ascending animatio ends, any class with grab will drag your ass down to the ground an knock u down.
- The mana/sp sustain on awakening is very low to non existent.

- Almost all its flows are unprotected making them useless to use

- The Arkanon summon from 1 skill deals more damage than your entire awakening kit.
- All your skills have very long animation (Cast lightning prison and its flow and u will see what i mean) and root you in place for a very long time, regardless of their SA buff, if u grind in Hadum high AP zones u will burn HP pots more than entire US burns joints on a yearly basis.
- Lightning Surge (Spacebar) aka that mini-dash is unprotected and can lead to so many Jumps of shame that can costs your life (either PVE or PVP)


Im not bashing the class or awakening kit. All i try to point out that PA either release a OP freaking class that becomes FOTM or they release a so bad class that needs 1-3 months of patches to make it decent PVE and PVP wise.
That give me the conclusion that PA either dont have QA team, the QA team does a poor job, or the QA team does everything perfect, even providing all the feedback and such, but , PA ignore them and goes with that piece of product as it is with "will fix it with upcoming patches" mentality.

I really dont know why they dont release new classes and their awakening to Global lab so they can tailor the class based on so valuable player feedback....

On the other hand, coming to this forum and posting suggestions for PA team ... is pointless to useless.
Our feedback rarely to never reach the dev team, and even if it reach the dev team they either ignore it due to their daily work/tasks or they just dont care.
We need to accept the idea that they (read PA) tailor the game and its updates around korean playerbase, even though, their wages are paid by EU/NA playerbase. Why? I swear to God if i know why.

It's okay to ask for more damage. Sage awakening should be doing big damage to match his flashy animations.

many good suggestions

Let me add some of my first thoughts:

- Bolt cd shall be at one sec (like ninjas ghost step) or allow to cast it out of cd but with SA instead of i-frame

- Lightning Surge shall have 2 sec cd and SA (or i-frame if Bolt where to stay unchanged)

- Shock relay shall have 3 sec cd and the Arcanon apearing at the front of character shall be smaller (it influences the aiming ability)

- Lighning Prison has too long cd, is way to slow for mediocre dmg it deals and while its good that we can warp before casting its flow, the timed between shal be lil longer

- Spear bolt MUST be fully protected...

- Impaling Flash does PATHETIC dmg (pvp and pve) and I would reduce the affected area by half (a circe with diameter similar to BOLT moving distance) BUT add like 4 more hits and change mechanick a bit: if there is one target within skill landing area it will be hit 5 times, 2targets - each hit 4 times, 3targets - each hit 3 times, 4-6 targets - each hit 2 times, more than 6 targets - each get one hit. It makes me sick to not know where I will land, and singe target dmg is below ANY expetations.

- the beginning of grab animation is to slow and cd is too long (sth like 8-10 sec would be nice)

- Divine Executioner has too long cd, its whole first part shall be an i-frame (or at least make it faster) because it suffers from point of origin issue (u can be grabbed in midair epecially at starting point)

- Upsurge is too slow and using it as a flow with 2 key combination hurts, i would swap its stwo versions bakeing frontal dmg basic one

 

So far we have bad SA rotation, long cd and animations skills that deal much too small dmg, and an underdeveloped mechanick of Impaling Flash.

The overcharge mechanick forces u to spam different skills BUT those have usually too long CD.

We need animations speed up, lower cd-s and a viable SA rotation. 

 

P.S Spatial Collapse + its flow does similar dmg to Divine Executioner and its flow BUT is much faster and has better control of dmg area. (and better back attack usage)

 

305awk kutum ap here and with awk im makeing 1,5 k less trash (thornwood forest) than with succesion (297ap with kutum) sage and 2k less dmg than i did with 309 nouver ap Archer... Both succesion sage and archer flows much more smooth and costs less attention with skill rotation.

I see glabs address several issues with missed hits that could be the issue for lacking damage, so thoughts on the following are just based off the last two days of PVP and End Game PVE Grinding.

 

Bolt - Current setup with 2 sec CD is fine and balanced, I wouldn't say no however to allowing use during CD WITH NO protection in keeping the kit balanced and giving another option of movement in Awakening for when packs are out of range. Hash is the only other large aoe class with iframe similar and his skill is a 1.5 sec cd, Hash however has multiple other movement skills in Awakening that don't require a target with lower cooldowns whereas Awa Sage will need to swap back and forth from pre to awa for fluid movement.  I've not yet found a reliable and consistent long range movement combo without having to stop for cds currently.

 

Spear Bolt  And Flow Aftershock- Make SA Core Skill (Giving protection outside of core is too op, no class should ever have a ranged safe cc engage this quick) and remove camera Shift on Flow. 

 

Lightening Prison - 15 CD to 12 CD

 

PVE in Elvia Servers, orcs tested mainly, at 291 Tet BS/Pen Kut/Pen Awa grinding can be a literal pain for 2+ hours. I'm unsure if this is due to a lack of damage and/or hits missing. The skills do seem to not deal very much damage in Awakening currently relying on pre-awakening to finish up packs. At Stars End no problem pulling 5k blue, but again requires rapid skill use and pre-awakening skills as well as taking breaks betweenscrolls just to give my fingers a rest lol, feels just like old tamer actually.
