Couldn't find anything on this issue other than this old thread, but yes, I'm stuck on "now processing" right now. Everything still worked fine yesterday. Is there any information on server status somewhere?

GM Flax just replied to my ticket, awesome guy. I think it is a good idea to share it here as my issue is now resolved. For me the Windows Socket API reset was enough. Hope this will help you too.

Greetings Adventurer,

Thank you for reaching out to the Black Desert Support Team. My name is GM Flax, I shall be your lighthouse and guide you through this request.

I understand that you are reaching out to us today, in regards to a long loading time when trying to access the game. I'll do my best to help here!

We strive to help players rectify any connection issues that may be preventing them from enjoying the game, and this is no exception.

From the description you've given us, the following steps should resolve the problem. I do understand that there is a lot of steps to follow and take in, but please be thorough and complete them all.

I suspect that your Windows Socket API might need to be reset. You can reset it by following these instructions:

• Press Start on the bottom left of your Windows taskbar.
• Search for cmd and IMPORTANT: Right click on the Command Prompt icon and press "Run as administrator".
• Type in netsh winsock reset and press Enter.

Your Proxy Settings might also be misconfigured. In order to reset them, please follow these steps:

• From Start, search for Internet Options. If you are using Windows 10, simply type in Internet Options after opening the menu.
• Click the Connections tab.
• Click LAN Settings and make sure that all options are turned off.

Next, please power cycle your modem and router. This is simply shutting down all devices connected to them and powering both of them down for a short period of time. After this, turn your modem and/or router back on and allow them to fully boot up until the front connection lights show a steady connection.

In addition to our above steps, please disable any antivirus and firewall software you have enabled currently, and ensure you are using a wired connection if possible. It is best to always use a wired connection directly to your modem when troubleshooting any network related issues, so if possible, please bypass your router temporarily.

I would also advise that you disable compatibility mode if you have it enabled, and that you ensure you are running the game with administrator privileges and have administrator rights on your computer.

Last but not least, please make sure that your Router or ISP are not blocking the ports 8888 and 9991 - 9993. You can check this via the website found here. If you can see this page, then you are okay. If not, your ports are blocked.

This should fully resolve any issues you are encountering, but if they persist, send me a reply with your WinMTR log, which you can download from this website:

For the Host, please input the IP:
- EU Server: 81.171.14.178
- NA Server: 49.236.159.226

• Uncheck “Resolve Names” in the Options, then press Start.
• Log into the game and let the WinMTR run until you experience these issues - usually within a few minutes - then stop the WinMTR and select “Export Text” to save it to a convenient location for you.

Additionally, please be so kind to try and delete the following files:
➤ Ads and Cache folders in the following directory (game installation folder): C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Desert
➤ The content of this Temp folder: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp
➤ The content of the UserCache folder in your Documents: C:\Users\Username\Documents\Black Desert

Note that your UI and game settings will be lost, although keep in mind that you can use the Setting Archive function found at the top left of your Settings menu to save them online, giving you the opportunity to re-apply them.

After this, please repair your game. You can do this by logging into your launcher and clicking the “Scan Files” option at the bottom.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us once more!

Kind regards,
GM Flax

Probably some temporary server overload, a moment ago I had the same, alt+ctrl+del, force close, restart the launcher and it works.

Yup, seems like it's resolved now. Probably a server issue, that's why it would be great if there was some server status information on the launcher or the website.

Hello,

This was a hiccup of the server, so it should be resolved by now!

If the issue happens again make sure to open a new thread as this thread was an issue related to 2021.

Kind regards.
