Only thing this thread needs is a saucer of milk. I don't care whether they add pve servers or not, makes no difference to me
You opt into PvP at level 50, There is nothing else that needs to be said. In any court of law that is binding. You agree to something, they have documentation that you agreed, because you couldn't continue to level if you didn't therefore you must have completed the quest that requires you to agree to PvP. If you didn't want to PvP, you could have chosen to quit at that time, but here we are with you lying and saying you never agreed to PvP.
You shouldn't bother with him, even when faced with evidences, he will ignore them or say that they are not relevant, and after some time he will say that you don't have argument because you don't want to repeat them again.
Same goes for devs words :
- when they clearly say something he says that it's unreliable,
- when an official wiki doesn't say that a dev personally wrote every single word, he pretends that it's also unreliable.
In short, no matter what you say and prove, if it doesn't go the way he wants he will refuse it.
... It reminds of my 7-year old kid.
Its hilarious actually. Despite being part of the official site, PA deciding to call it a "wiki" somehow discredits the info.
Its like a arguing with an anti-vaxxer despite presenting the science behind it.
FYI. The adventure guide is writted by PA. Click the lightbulb at the top of an article which you can request an official source to update info.
Do you have arguments based on BDO functionment to demonstrate why players should be forced to accepte forced pk when it bring nothing at all on a systemic game level.
The failure that was season servers and the utter crapshow that it caused.
So you rely on the developers that created Succ Wizard and thought it was balanced to be the authority figure on what's good for the game?
Its hilarious actually.
What's hilarious is thinking you have a strong case when you are unable to answer simple question, nor contradict simple BDO reality that only display that forced pk only is a matter of player personal wish and not "necessity for the game to work properly" ( even toxicbones dodges to provide actual explanation when he tried to make such point )
let me put it there again before you try to speak to say nothing like your buddy salasuud unable to argument around his own premise for more than 1month
Lets go, to see if you will have something to answer,
BDO doesnt resolve around owpvp like ArcheAge for exemple.
BDO :
No pve systems need forced pk to function ( hello Olivia & seasonal where no systems at all was reworked & changed, all spot & life skills behave the exact same way )
forced pk bring nothing at all ( no xp, no drop, no sp, no particular pve advantage = no more mob spawn, not more loot etc etc )
Do you have arguments based on BDO functionment to demonstrate why players should be forced to accepte forced pk when it bring nothing at all on a systemic game level.
So ? where are you arguments ? I mean, for now, all you have displayed is a wiki saying :
that wiki only say : "in the game its possible to force pk",
But doesnt say
-"you will have to use forced pk to fight over limited ressource"
Nor neither say :
-" BDO need forced pk on various systemic level point to create a strong and deep bridge between pve & owpvp" ( like AA do for exemple )
I mean for now you have demonstrated jack sh#t you just throw idea in the air, but still have zero argument, zero demonstration based on BDO system functionments.
The failure that was season servers and the utter crapshow that it caused.
Since when "issue related to season" ( so you say actualy, i see proof no where that season actualy was a failure conisdering how it was all the time crowed ) are bound to the fact that forced is disabled, also, didnt you had arsha choice during all season ? in that situation it would be strange you complain about "forced pk absence" when you actualy had all choice to play with it.
Odd "argument" attempt here,
but:
no explanation,
no demonstration,
no "made up fact back up" ( you claim season a failure, how so ? where are the proof ? said who ? )
Just throwing things like if somehow would explain... hum ? what are you trying to "demonstrate" with your factless "sentense" ?
This topic turned into a s..tpost fest as any other PvE server discussion. "Oh. Waiter! Can you serve me some beer and vegetable salad in this BBQ restaurant? No? Bah! I am getting out'ta 'ere!" :)

yeah apparently bleach guy is a second account of some proud forced pk lover that come under desguise to troll.
I mean, you see what kind of person represent the forced pk side :)

With so few people advocating for forced PVP they need all the help they can get. If you notice over the years it's been unique users that have repeatedly requested PVE servers and given their horror stories. Meanwhile only a few people advocate for forced interaction.
Most of the customers that don't like it simply go away.
Here is an area that can not be disputed. Driving players away from the game is detrimental to everyone. It means less funding and updates even for those that want PVP.
And yes, no one is able to give reasonable arguments as to why this forced PVP needs to occur. In fact it's very opposite. All the people claim they need forced PVP ONLY to prevent Karma Bombers. Which makes NO SENSE at all, as those are the exact players that would more likely be on a PVE server.
You two had your chance three times to see, what's it like on a PvE server. :) Three. And what did you do? Scratching your things? Nevermind. I don't want to know. If you did you wouldn't even write all this garbage.
