Sure. But here is the issue. BDO is not similar game to WoW / FFXIV or so on so that mentality doesn't work here
Either they have too many PvE servers or too little. Same wiseversa for PvP. Either way one side will complain about something. Lets say they add 5 PvE servers then PvE players are complaining constantly that there is not enough servers. Then lets add 20 more. Then basically ppl complain about there is too many PvE servers and not enough PvP. Then there is the factor that PvP players start complaining that they have "riskier life in" and want arsha buff on all PvP servers and then PvE players are complaining that PvP players got unfair advantage and enforce them to play on PvP servers and still complain about PvP
And we all know they won't add new servers. AT max they convert old ones meaning normal servers become PvE or PvP and so on and in the end community is split in 2.
Then there is the fact that players can just grief on PvE servers to try force others out of spot while they have no way of defending. Like destroying mirumok trees for lols or simply coming to spot and duol grinding while the one was there first might have buffs while new comer might not have.
Just accept the game as PvP game and a lot of times when you do get killed u loose absolutely nothing. Dying is normal in video games and nothing to be worried about. Change server, log to another charr / do something else and stop being entitled kid
Man, I hope these devs know what they're doing. All I can say. Forum community doesn't even know what we want, so many conflicting opinions on everything regarding PVE servers.
Lost Ark coming soon. Elyon soon. Ashes of Creation Alpha testing (HURRY UP ALPHA 1 PHASE 2, I'M WAITING!! ;)), Corepunk, and so many other new MMO's coming out.
If PA lessens the quality of this game in any way, shape, or form, finding a new primary MMO won't be a problem whatsoever.
PA will keep doing the same, they don't want to fully remove the ability to kill other players but at the same time they want to ensure won't drive away others from the game.
Players that don't want to deal with PvP are fully protected with zero consequences for dying or ways to avoid negative effects. PvP players that don't want to worry about karma have Arsha.
I doubt PA will ever add PvE servers or give any other solution to carebears self inflicted problem of "karmabombing" outside: go to Arsha.

PVE servers in BDO simply will not work well unless sweeping changes are made. Grind zones are designed to promte conflict / conflict resolution. Just plain and simple. Unless big changes are made, like how group EXP and group loot works, possibly mob respawn timers, or other big changes like instanced grind zones (yuck), a fully fledged PVE Only server, in the context of BDO, simply will be a mess and would require tons of work to get it functional in a way that is comfortable for players. Players would need servers available, and if such a server were implemented, you better bet your britches the forums would flood with complaints / issues that would require even more dev time and resources ---- resources that could be spent on content and fixing existing issues. PVE Only server will only create more issues, in BDO's context, it would take a lot more than simply turning off PVP in a channel...
Also, Karma Bombing is on a spectrum. Your "go to Arsha" "solution" is almost like an insulting slap in the face of dismissal and denial.
Either way, I still hope the devs can figure out a way to make BDO more welcoming and education for new players, more PvP opportunities for players in mid-game gearing stages, and making the game satisfactory to vets at the same time, while maintaining BDO's PVX niche it's sold itself on since day 1.
hmm prepare for big time griefing then
Griefing is the reason I don't play more. I fish, life skill, but as far as grind, I don't do much of it. I would do so much more and spend so much more money if I could grind without being pk'd. I don't care if its once a week, or once a day its always watching over my shoulder that drives me nuts.
IMO there has been so much talk about it that it should be tried. PVE only channels should be given a trial run. If they don't work and if players stop playing because of it then go back to original. But I think more would play and others would join, just like they did for Season Servers.
Of course thats my opinion, no one has to agree, but I know I would do more that afk fish if it was on pve only server.
