I'd hope to see this "holes in the world" lod nonsense gone. I didn't have any sort of issue at all until last maintenance, then boom, always a hole in the distance, always some kind of weird "terrain not updating right, updating late" malarkey going on.

It's grating and kinda makes me want to not play anymore given how hideous it makes the game look

I know that feel very well.

Since almost all cells look like a martian wasteland from afar, all I do is five hours of grinding per week and packing boxes.
I liked doing quest a lot and enjoyed the view of BDO's beautiful gameworld.
The state it is in right now, is utterly intolerable.

If they are finally at it, I hope they fix all distant LOD issues which accumulated since the 28th of April. 

Issue not fixed, might be worse, don't know, at this point I'm done caring. Tired of this game and them leaving bugs unattended to.

I first started playing this game years and years ago, but eventually an annoying UI bug that left a message stuck right in the middle of my screen showed up, nothing I could do, nothing I did had any effect, multiple reinstalls, multiple topics, nothing, not even an admittance of the issue.

I quit the game. It took them FIVE years to fix that bug. I really hope you all get a fix far sooner than that, but I can't justify playing in a game that looks like a damn broken mess, when the biggest draw for me to games is how immersive their environment is. This destroys all semblance of immersion. Good luck.

well this AMD(Advanced Micro Devices) FSR  did nothing for me to fix any of the graphics i have a GTX 1080 and the game look great till they started messing with it now it crap holes every where and you can not pick were you want to travel to with out it being wrong now

Out of curiosity - which driver version are you using rn? (I run two GTX 1070 Ti)

I have a gtx 1080 ran there high in version ultra quality AMD FidelityFx Super Resolution and everything look cold and with out color all drab

I meant the version number of your graphics card driver.
I reverted back to 417.35 a while ago because I experienced stability issues in Skyrim and BDO with my cards.

Latest is 471.96 - have not tried that one yet. Any experiences?

Hasn't been fixed for me either with the Sept 1st patch.

Has PA at least acknowleged the issues, especially since the Aug 25th patch?

Otherwise no point in even hoping for a fix.

Are they only affecting a small portion of the player base?  I was watching Choice streaming node wars and he had holes in the landscape.  Hard to tell in general because most streamers are grinding inland or underground and these issues don't appear in close range.

After one of that dxgi_error_reset events and a recover (that's why I think is linked to that problem)...
Also, when opening the map, all the map is in plain texture without any 3D Shape.
