It easy they just do a fresh start PVE only server boom insteadly make billions problem solved. People would flock to it in swarms and PA would make billions sense everything is new and has to be rebought. Even people who avoid playing BDO cause it has forced PVP would pick up the game for the first time especially if they knew it was a freash start.

Just like Classic WoW, which was dead 6 months later, no one plays it anymore Just like the "new EQ" servers that they ended up shutting down a year later, just like the "fresh DAOC" servers that got shut down and consolidated into 1 server from 12, a mere 8 months after launch.  Just like Anarchy online where they did that, oh wait they have like 30 people still playing, 1 server, and it's free to play, don't even have to buy the game anymore.

Yeah the "fresh start" servers never work well most of the people who went to Console for the "fresh start" came back to the regular game, only the people who don't have a choice stay on console.

Wow, just like that huh, fresh start PVE BDO, boom, billions.

Pretty sure that's what they're developing CDO for.  Granted, they stick to the genre they currently advertise it as.

except crimson desert is an offline singleplayer game.

Classic wow failed not because it was a fresh start it failed because after 20+ years of classic wow not being a think people forgot just how shit classic wow was until it was released. There a reason Wow eloved into what it is today and didn't stay how it was 20 years ago. An that not really a fresh start the just Blizzard taking advantage of idiots who had no idea what they were asking for until it was to late.

An the only reasons people left BDO console to go back to PC was because this game isn't optimizaed for console. You literally can't even play classes like Kuno, Ninja, tamer on console with a console controller. The key mapping is aids and animation canceling is physically impossible to do. That and the fact that these classes need to have 5-7+ skills on their hot bar to use them makes playing some classes on console impossible. It clear PA was seeing all the money ESO made off it console verison and went "Ya we can shit out some crappy console version and make money that way too." So they did.

This is fake news. CDO will going to have a storyline that is solo (just like in bdo by the way) and will going to have multiplayer elements (as told by PA).

Not many would play in a fresh start bdo server, why would they? WoW forexample was entierly different at start (just like other mmos).

But bdo ain't changed much since start.

That's true that with CDO they want to hardreset the whales and if CD will be sucesfull (which is unlikely) then they put bdo into maintance mode.

they should just open Olvia to all players, all the time.

What's the harm in it? I wouldn't use it, and neither would most current players (we know how nasty grinding a non-contestable spot would be). But I know of many people who would play BDO if they had the option to 100% dodge PvP.

Just open Olvia to everyone... how could that go wrong?

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

Lets expose this FRAUD once again.

"Can you explain how they could make money on a pure PvE version of BDO?"

In a recent thread that PeaceInChaos was part of the user openly stated they would pay MORE MONEY if it wasn't for their negative PVP experiences.  This has been a common theme that has plagued BDO for quite some time.

So what we have here is a FRAUD literally listening to others state they would PAY more money and then yucking it up like "Who is gonna pay for this LOL".

Stop with the vendetta.
