1 pack is fine, its insane with all the buff you need for playing the game in normal mode.

Can we please do something about these three different buffs? I know many of you will argue and say you dont need em you can play without them etc. While thats fine if you dont need them, you are welcome to play how you want. But I like to maximize my limited game time as much as I can. If the items sat on the MP sure I could spend my earned in game currency to purchase them but they are never listed.

Why not just make a subscription? I would gladly pay $20/$25 a month to have those three buffs applied to my account. It would be an easy way to calculate MRR (monthly recurring revenue), I am sure many people would pay it. Its way more healthy for a game to have a sub than a cashshop you can still keep the cashshop for all the other stuff. Its much easier to hire developers, purchase infrastructure, etc if you know how much income something is going to bring in. Rather than winging stuff based on whales if there at still any left.

Another fix would be to have those buffs stop counting when your logged off. I dont really care much to leave my rig on overnight. If those buffs stopped counting while your not online that would be amazing. Then you would be able to use what you purchased. I dunno anyone else have some thoughts on this?

For me its also annoying to buy the buffs one by one. How you said it would be much much better to pay monthly to get the buffs

Ok true me just sharing view of what the other user said is not a fact. However you can just add up all of the cashshop items and 3 subs to come to that conclusion. Here I'll break down some of the supporting evidence to this viewpoint.

- Horse Skill Change coupons that are 99% needed to make a Courser so that you can start making attempts to turn it into a Dream Horse. 11 of these Horse Skill Change coupons will cost you around $20 to $25. For example I have used 28 Horse Skill Change coupons unsuccessfully changing just one skill. In most cases you need to change at least 3 to 4 skills at minimal.

- The game has a $65/monthly subscription to get the full BDO experience. This right here alone proves that the DEVs don't care about the players who are willing to spend $15/month subs. But only cares about people willing to pay much more a month.

- Costume Melting and Selling. Basically regardless if you are the one spend your IRL money to obtain. You are still buying a Cash Shop item to perform enhancement chances without downgrading or destroying your gear. Which can regress you back 30 to 90 days for grinding. Each one of this costumes cost about $32. You need two of these costumes for a safe Non-META enhancment chance. You can also turn around and sell these costumes on the marketplace to other players for around 335 million silver each. Which then can be used to directly buy gear from the marketplace. You have some youtube videos of people spending over $150,000 IRL money to ~Because they want to compete in the PvP scene, but didn't want to spend 6,000+ hours grinding for the gear.~

Yes all that alone don't prove the Devs only care about the high spenders. You know what does in the cron case. Is the fact that the Devs do really create new costumes for average players to buy. And the fact that Devs have many ~Buy 6 basic Premium costumes at the price 4.~ sales.

- A lot of the sales the goes on in BDO are above $45. Which also proves that these Devs don't care about the $15/month spender. But the guys that is going to spend massive amounts of money to win PvP battles.

-Alot of matches from the Arena of Arsha's Best of Slot event. Was nothing more than a slight of hand promotion of the game to Whales not yet playing BDO. Basically saying ~Hey guys look here! Looks at these mechanically better players clearly getting gearchecked! You can do the same and be a Star Player in BDO for the price of a medium to large size house in some states in the U.S.!~

I mean I could go on with more supporting evidence to back up such claims. But I think this is enough mountain of text for one post.

Oh fuck off with your bull shit, every one of these "claims" you just made about P2W has been disproven.  Go back to ESO you leech, no one wants you here.

Coldnapalm said it best. One look at the silver/USD ratio of this game and you will know that this game is NOT aimed at the average consumer. Nope. Their target audience for the cash shop are people who spend THOUSANDS of dollars every month for a video game.

They don't care about the 15 USD/month subscription players they could get if they offered a decent package with that money. To them, you with your 15-30 bucks a month spending are thin air. Like a fart in the wind. An unpleasant smell that quickly dissipates so they can think of more ways to milk the real whales.

This is nothing special in Korean games btw. Most of them have ridiculously expensive cash shops. They don't care about the average consumer. Only the whales interest them and they're all competing for those fat idiots willing to fork out a fortune into a stupid video game.

That's how it is, and as long as the whales pay up, it will never change.

I understand what your saying but you have to think of it in another form. Lets say the whales quit and move to a new KR game? What happens then do you think they are going to keep the infra up?  While I know KR games and their cash ships pretty well we arent in KR. The game should be marketed towards the US client base. Again thats my opinion some of you may disagree which is fine.

If they forked out a sub for example the life span of the game could run much longer. Ive been playing on and off since Beta (US). Ive seen many people and entire guilds crumble over the years. Some of them spent tons of money while others skimped. The whales do dry up sooner or later and tbo it will suck for people who love the game. When that happens it will probably be to late to even try and save it.

Just saying BDO isn't doing that "great" in KR. Its actually somewhere around 6th most popular mmorpg / around 20 in overall rankings according pc bang rankings.

Meanwhile Lost Ark is top3 (last time I checked it was 2nd and passed Pubg which is really popular in KR).

BDO isn't going to move direction where it can keep up the popularity / whales in game and making money. Only reason why it has this many players is because in west options are much more limited than in asia. And PA knows this. They're just cashing out and been doing so for while now because they know to fix the game it would take too much money and effort so its better just try to cash out as much as possible as fast as possible.

Past 2 years or so I have spent 30 euros on BDO and solely because PA/Kakao were both doing things I didn't approve

These buffs used to pause when you logged off but apparently that changed after we transferred to PA? Kind of sad really...

They do not care. If the whales leave, they will probably try to do some changes to salvage something of their train wreck, before abandoning the game and developing the next whale trap.

Nope. Ever since they were introduced they've been running non-stop. Only character-specific buffs stop when the character is not logged in. Family-wide buffs run all the time except during maintenance.
