True not all PvP is griefing. But the PvP these new systems are targeting is all about griefing. Mob feeding is the height of griefing, more so when you do in a zone the is for players that have less than half your calculated stats.

You know what forced PvP these systems don't target? ARSHA forced PvP.

You bullies brought it apon yourselves. Just be glad the penalties are not as bad as they are in other Open World Forced PvP MMOs. (Imainge killing one time and get a 30minute global criminal timer where if you just enter lawful zones during this period. NPCs instantly blow you up and you lose everything your character has equiped and in the inventory.) In my book these Devs are just letting you guys off with a tap on the wrist.

That 30 minute timer is nothing compared to what PA is trying to implement. If a bounty is placed on you, you're perma red until you're killed. Even if you satisfy the infamy by dropping hundreds of millions of silver, you don't return to normal until all bounties are satisfied. You won't even be safe inside safe zones.

Edit: Also, PvP is an inherent part of the game. It's what draws so many people to it. So being let off with a "tap on the wrist" is a completely asinine statement. The game's foundation is built upon PvP. Yes, there should be minor punishment for forced PvP, but that's what the karma system is for.

You mean the 30 minute timer that prevent criminals from doing business in any legitimate town or market is nothing compared to losing a few hours in crystal progress? Then you would be happier with that system then these incoming systems, right? It was at this point I realized you have no Open World Forced PvP MMO experience outside of BDO. Probably for good reasons too, as most put way more penalties on the PKers than BDO does.

Yes PvP is a very inherent part of the game. However bullying with next to no regulation will destroy or stagnate a game faster and harder than bots. I don't remember a MMO where PvP = bullying the weak without recourse.

Also again you guys have a option to not have to deal with so called karma-bombers. While others are left with no recourse to deal with PK griefers outside of just not play the game. Sounds like you would do better in the Survival PvP genre. Where unfiltered PvP is the normal. But skill-lets gets eating up alive in those. So I understand why most BDO's PKers hate those types of games.

Seriously go fuck yourself.

First off, watch your mouth I wasn't even talking to you.

Secondly, why are you getting so aggressive over a simple response?

Third, Did my words actually hit home for you? LEL If you do less grinding brain dead NPCs and more programs that train your aim and reflexes. Then after a few weeks to a few months. You'll be a gamer that is servicible in PvP environments outside of RNG gear based P2W grinders. And will end up like me, actually having multiple options for PvP and PvE entertainment.

Just food for thought is all!

Not all PvP is griefing. Maybe that's what you do. Not everyone PvPs just to grief.

I dunno what you're whining about. You can already karma bomb people with impunity by not joining a guild. It's that simple.

The only change this will bring is that non-NW guilds will then be able to karma bomb like guildless people. You think it will make a big difference?

You can also still continue mutual guild wars with next to no silver cost to either party.

Sounds to me you just want to be able to bully people as you like. Unfortunately the devs have made their stance clear, and if you don't like mutually agreed PvP, better start looking for another game.

FACTS! The hammer has been coming down further and further with each year these past 2 or 3 years. I just think these people who want unfiltered PvP. Should look at another genre that has such a ruleset. Or just go play on Arsha.

Going to say it again, go fuck yourself with your BDO sucks, BDO P2W, BDO trash mentality.  Go play something else, you quit a long time ago and keep trying to justify your decision to quit, as if you somehow convince someone else to quit you were "right".

75% false!

While I do point out BDO is P2W and why. Can you point to the post in these forums where I explicitly said BDO sucks, or BDO trash, can you also point in the post here where I said I've quit. Far as me telling people who don't like the game to go play something else that they like. I don't find that unreasonable.

I get it you are mad at the coming changes, and you are lashing out at me. But understand you can have your unmutual forced PvP without any penalties in other genres of games. You guys still have Arsha PvP channel with no Karma.

It's ok I understand that your favorite toy (access to weak PvP players who can't fight back) is becoming more restricted. So I'll forgive your treaspasses this time. Next time when you meet a weak PvP player instead of griefing them out of the game. Try pulling from the playbook of Eve Online community and take them under your wing and groom them to be amazing allies. Then things like this are rare to happen.

No my favorite toy that is becoming restricted is the ability to defend my grind spot VS Griefers and Karma bombers.  Gear Score doesn't matter, if you got the gear to grind where I am, you got the gear to fight me.  Heck where I grind I would be considered a gearlet being only 650 GS.  The players that want to beat up on weak players go to RBF where the GS range is 580-720.

As for your claim that you didn't quit.

I have actually started to pick up my BDO activity these past few weeks. So I do actually play the game... these days. Though I would never spend as much time and money in a Skill-let paradise as some of you guys have. I have other games where skill don't take a backseat, to try hard in.

Sure sounds like you admitted to quitting to me.

Guildless ppl can karma bomb you all they want already and there's nothing you can do about it. How do you deal with them?

And your RBF comparison is so beyond stupid I don't know if you're trolling or not. You do realize RBF is a PvP-only mode that you have to specifically enter with your own consent, do you? It also has pretty much zero rewards to it. How does that even begin to compare with grinding?
