Well PA you finally got me if the most recent global changes go through as far as taking my money goes. I find a new class I enjoy just for it to be nerfed into the ground 2 months in. Sure it needed a damage tweak and some of the insane accuracy and evasion modifiers needed to be toned down, but SA on rift cooldown? We'll be visible in rift chain now and only in SA with higher stamina consumption as well. Squishy, long unprotected skills, less damage, less mobility, and now grab fodder. Here I thought you were done nerfing classes this hard but I was wrong.
What's with the 17 second cd on finishing touch anyway? That also hurts PVE for no reason. Can we not go nuclear with the nerf bat all at once and try incremental changes instead? It took a whole year for succ wiz to see minor nerfs and succ sage gets nerfed into oblivion almost immediately. Of course you give it just enough time for all of the rerollers to spend a bunch of money on it too.

You're not wrong. I just thought they had a decent track record since gaurdian, hash, nova. Seemed like small tweaks here and there to balance a little but they seemed to have reverted back to their old ways releasing way overtuned and then making the class irellevant shortly after.

I rolled Sage day 1 it came out because i thought it looked cool. so nobody can assume everyone playing sage rn is because it was broken a few weeks after when they increased the NW damage.
It needed some sort of nerf, but what they did in GL was sorta excessive.
Get rid of invisible rift chain - ok no worries
Make stamina consumed more during rift chain - ok no worries
Change I frame to 1 time - Excessive... unlimited was too much 1 is too little. there is no protections
Nerf S+F attack damage - it was too strong, but also the radius was too big, why not just change the size?
Nerf Flow attack - why not just reduce pvp damage? because 17 seconds on that skill in pve is gonna mess up grinding heavy..

its balanced u just wont be able to dance inside the enemy blob, but on the outskirts of it, like most other classes.

So what if you can dance inside a blob. As long as the sage can't cast which should be easy considering they changed it so you can see sage in iframe on cd, you can just time where they are going to pop up and either grab/cc them or wait until their stamina is up in 5-6 casts. They waste some time and then die without doing anything? Trying to cast in a blob is already hard. Now make movement visible and no Iframe and its just not even possible. Sage becomes just a free kill as they try to escape or reposition. Even more free when they try to fight back with the long casting times. Taking away the Iframe is destroying what makes the class viable at all.
When people roll off of already op wiz class to sage and then sage is all you see on the battlefield you better believe it needs "tweaking". I get you feel like it's overboard but look at DK and try to justify their "Iframes". The problem with sage is they were invisable for half of the fight, launch massive 1shot dmg sages and go back into a gapless iframe for 10 seconds until cooldowns were done and inc next 1shot. I'm glad they got balanced.
