At Master/Guru, it would be really fun being able to catch horses while remaining seated on our horse. I'd feel like one of those Yee-haw wild horse catchers back in the day! And seeing the tamed horse tied to your saddle and following really close behind your horse would be cute.

Hope future new areas will have new horse coats and maybe even some rare T6 in the wild.

Regarding the new Weekly quest announced in:

Black Desert | PEARL ABYSS (playblackdesert.com)

-Change the fern roots to another item. The T10 attempts are already time-gated because of the amount of fern roots you obtain from Wapra's Quests. I can imagine this quest is added for those who have no luck obtaining the Mythical Feathers (and I appreciate that) but it is a bad implementation if nobody does the quest;

I have not found a single person that agreed they would do this instead of just buying the feather from the Central Market because of how precious the Fern Roots are.

Please consider another option like: x20 Laila's Petals, x5 Scorched Fragments or x300 Peridot Leaves. (To name a few examples)

Or replace with another task, such as:

-Harvest Special Carrots, Process Lumps of Raw Sugar and cook Carrot Confit / High-quality Carrot Juice.

-Gather Herbs, and Process Hay.

-Cook a completely New Dish that requires Grain juice, Dry Mane Grass, / Silk Honey Grass, and fruit / sugar / etc.

-Craft a piece of horse gear.

-Complete 10 Horse Skill mini-games.

And ONE feather each week? it would take 10 WEEKS to obtain enough Mythical Feathers for ONE T10 attempt. I understand there are other ways to obtain the feather but this is incredibly disproportionate because it takes about 2 WEEKS of Wapra's Dailies to obtain enough Fern Roots for a T10 attempt. (If your training rank is Master +) Imo, it should be 2 and would still mean 5 Weeks for an attempt, but seems more logical.

p.s. can this Quest, if ever implemented, give Training EXP as well please?

-Please give us the possibility of choosing a different way to complete the daily.

Artisan: a) Catch t3 horse or b) Catch 3 horses

Master: a) Catch t4 horse or b) Catch 4 horses

etc. Depending on RNG of where a specific tier spawns is unncesarily annoying. And if you tell me:

"Oh but that would barely leave horses in the spawns!" Sounds like horse spawn rate should be lowered.

"Finding a specific tier is not that hard." As master, there are times where I've gone to ALL spawns in Mediah and have not found one. Forcing me to go to Duvencrune for a guranteed one after checking all spots is downright ridiculous. (Talk about 30-40m in total.) Specially bad during Training events cause Duvencrune is ALWAYS empty.

Another one of the important points of the Mythical awakening system is that a lot of us do not want the fern root to be a Mythical DIne or Doom material. If you don't mind the fern being shared between Mythicals is because you either:

a) Already got your Mythical Arduanatt

b) You have no interest in Mythical Arduanatt

Maybe this wouldn't be such a big problem if it wasn't because of how limited are the sources for Fern Roots. Maybe it won't be a problem if some of the community's suggestions are implemented but right now it's a big concern for all trainers who consider a T10.

People who already have their T10 are saving ferns incase they are needed for Dine and people who don't have the Mythical horse are upset cause the people who do, have a headstart on attempts. We are talking about about MONTHS of quests ahead in count.

It is SO bad, that some players are glad the T10 Dine was not released yet.

Nobody said life is fair, but it shouldn't be this way where players have to choose which T10 to invest their attempts if they have been unlucky in a year of attempts and if they are hard-working and willing to invest for all Mythical available.

As of 13 of January, 2022. There is a GURU TRAINER with FOURTY ONE FAILS on  Mythical Arduanatt. 41. How is that acceptable? Whose idea was it to reward just luck instead of effort? I don't really care if it's the rule of thumb for content in this game. But that model of gameplay is atrocious.

-This is a silly one I suppose 🐎

But can we have different colors of Mythical horses available through the Premium Appereance Coupon? 2-3 Variants

-Speaking of appearance Coupons;

What about an advanced coupon (More Expensive) that lets you customize a horse from scratch? Within some limits of course. We don't want neon pink horses.

Say you can choose from all the current coat colors, patterns, manes and tails.

A crazy example: I want a T8 with a caramel coat, white pattern, long white mane and brown braided tail.

-Change the model of Trainer's Clothes. Stupid sack of potatoes looks so ugly. Hell, let me dress like Lorenzo Murray, I'd take that anyday.

Or let us merge Craftable Costumes with Luxury Vendor Clothes while using a Equipment Tailoring Coupon. Add an extra cost, even. We keep the appereane of the Craftable Costume (Orwen's Travel Wear, Calpheon Noble Dress etc) but the buffs of the Clothes.

-Let us melt Horse Costumes for Crons too. Amount respective to their CM cost compared to Character Costumes. The only reason character costumes get sold in the CM is cause people want them for crons. Lucky the people who wanted the cosmetic and had their order fulfilled.

-Give us skill count on every UI window where we can see the horses skills. You currently cannot see it if a horse is connected to a wagon or looking at a horse in a stable.

-Succesfully completing the horse skill mini-games should give Training EXP if it doesn't already. (Haven't noticed any increase when mastering the skills.)

-With the revamp on the Trading (New Wagon System, Caravan, Etc) please use this as an opportunity to weave Training some Importance into other lifeskills.

What do I mean by this? For example, if you wanted to craft your Manos Trainer's Clothes you need to do:

1. Processing for the Fabric

2. Alchemy for the Oil

Sure, this is not forced and you can buy the clothes with Imperial Training Seals. So here's another example, for Dream Horse Materials you need:

1. Farming for Stonetail Fodder

2. Trading for Imperial Delivery Seals (Rainbow Fruit Gem)

3. Hunt for Tokens (Spirit Pouch of Ferocious Beast)

4. Fishing for Broken Bottles / Hooks (Breezy Conch Seaweed)

5. Gathering for Deep Blue Hoof Root

Also not forced as you can put orders in the Central Marketplace for these.

The only reason people need to do Trainng is to obtain means of land transportation. And even that is not necessary as you can just buy the horse off the market. (And no, I'm not advocating to force a lifeskill on anybody.)

But with the revamp in Trading, it would be awesome if us Trainers could invest and boost this other lifeskill as well.

Just like we have horses solely for racing, let us raise/breed the Wagon Horse/camel/elephant that will boost the Trading rewards. (More Weight on your wagon/caravan, speed buff, profit increase etc.) (If needed remove the wagon horse item req from crafting a wagon.) Pricing could vary on "tier" of the trading mounts and if any special skills are mastered or fully trained.

Perhaps one of the mount gear types obtained from Imperial Training can be revamped for Trading. Giving your wagon/caravan more durability or HP when equipped on the mount connected to it.

Could add Trade Wagon or Caravan Parts to the Imperial Training Seals Exchange.

Traders can decide to use the default horses in a wagon or work/purchase these mounts/gear.

p.s. I have zero trading knowledge, so my "boost" ideas might be coming short. I just wanted to outline the main idea :)

-If our workers could make use of the horses in our stable to move/work faster and give them a bit of experience. (T1-5 only so they have a reason to exist.)

Please revise the exchange of Peridot Petal : T9 Awaken Materials (10:1). Each T9 mat is approx 2.3m. You need 5 Manshaun Voodoo Dolls to summnon the boss. (680k at lowest price = 3.4m per summon) And you need over 3 bosses to get 10 petals. It seems excessive. Maybe halving the exchange to 5:1 would move the Voodoo Doll stock in the Central Market and help fulfil some of the T9 material orders as well? Just a thought.

Please revise as well the Imperial Fishing Seal : Breezy Conch Seaweed exchange ratio. I am an amateur fisher, but I haven't been able to obtain more than 10 of these seals in one sitting. (Professional 4, 100 durability rod.) In my opnion, anything more than 100 durability is far TOO much for ONE awakening material. Specially when you it gives you 1% and you need 200% for one awakening attempt.

Please revise the exchange ratio of Peridot Leaves : Swaying Wind Shard and Rumbling Earth Shard. You need 750 Peridot Leaves for 1 Krogdalo Origin Stone. It's excessive.

Other Horse Racing suggestions:

- Remove catch up mechanic. If you fail your start accel, missed your turns and screwed your speed boosts. You shouldn't be able to reach the person who did it perfectly.

- Reduce the size of the colliion boxes. They're far too big; that you can't fit 7 players in the start line side by side. And it has unfair physics during the race. Sure, if I was trying to headbutt right behind another player I would understand if I slow down. But 2-3 players can catch up and somehow push you behind. Funny enough if you try to do the same, you just waste your speedboosts as if you were running against a wall.

- Provide more generic rewards for the Horse Race Seal Exchange. Most items you can obtain from this feature are horse related, meaning a big portion of the players are not interested in it. If you could obtain more generic rewards such as Ancient Spirit Dust, Cron Stones, Scorched Fragments, Magical Shards, etc perhaps more players would be interested in participating.

p.s. I have made my gameplay mostly revolve around horse training so I'm not too sure what other types of players might find appealing. The examples I provided might be bad, but you get the idea.

Please give us a lobby where we can sign up first and only get ported when there's enough people to start a race. Not even the terrible mechanics stop me from wanting to race... you know what does?

Port in, Wait, No Participants, Port out.

Port in, Wait, Two people join, Not enough participants, Port out.

Port in, Wait, 3 People, Port out.

Port in, Wait, The othe two people disappeared, No Participants, Port out.

Port in, Wait, No Participants, Port out.

- Alternatively, since a lobby sounds like a foreign term for BDO. Add a system alert.

If you think I care about all my guildmates leveling up and reaching a lifeskill rank, then give me an option to see notifications when people sign up to a track. Even if it's just the first person, I'm sure more people would sign up if they saw a pop up saying "A race will begin shortly in x Track!"  and obviously an option to toggle it off.

- Give better rewards for harder tracks. I have raced 2 times in Velia and 0 in Calpheon. I have NO interest whatsoever on completing harder tracks for the same prizes. (And if there are, then don't mind me. I wouldn't know cause I haven't finished Velia track even once.)

- Increase the window in which players can complete a race after the first 3 places crossed the finish line. If the catch up mechanic was to be removed, mistakes would be costy. I don't think 30 seconds instead of 10 would hurt anyone to let others finish the race. Them getting their completion reward won't take away your prize from the first three spots.

-There should be a racing mode where you can "practice laps" and each lap you complete under a certain "time" gives you a set amount of coins.

Less coins than competitive racing ofc. Maybe have time trial with Gold, Silver and Bronze times. 3-2-1 coins respectively. Alternatively 1 coin each and 3-2-1 Participant Certificates for Training EXP.

Would be a nice way to let players practice races, get rewards and not be stuck if there aren't enough people. You could even explore shortcuts and beat your own personal records. A lot of people want "solo" races, but would make no sense to get trophies if you can race against 4 AI or NPC. So this is my idea instead.

Perhaps each track could have a time trial leaderboard for horses from tier 1-4. This way:

a) You race solo and get coins for dailies and exchanges

b) Have a reason to raise lower tier horses

c) Have competitive non-frustrating Trainer fun. possibly with monthly rewards for top spots such as the trophies + other goodies.

Would reset each week or month and the same trainer cannot win the leaderboard twice in a row.

- Just like Fishing has a sub-tool: Crio’s Fishing Char. Horse trainers could get a special saddle oriented to help capture wild horses.
How to use: Equipped to the horse. Sugar Lumps and Ropes would have to be put in the horse’s inventory.
How to get it: Get creative with the materials, Made in a Horse Gear Workshop. This saddle would have the same difficulty to be crafted as 1-2 pieces of the Forest Path Wagon.
Exclusivity: Cannot be listed in Marketplace and can only be used by Master + Rank.
Feature:

1. The wild horse follow you faster to the stable the higher the enhancement level.

(There are instances in which a captured horse will continously port behind you, and this way you can register it much faster than usual. This saddle could guarantee that effect at max enhancement.)

2. Would let you rope wild horses while still mounted on your own.

You approach with your mount and rope the wild horse, slowly get closer and feed it lumps as you normally would. Then you have the R interaction that instead of mounting the hourse you would "pet it" and thus secure the reign and the capture. If your taming fails, the horse will fore chop you and dismount you before running away. Once successfully tamed, you can walk to the stable on your own horse while the wild horse follows behind as it does already.

and maybe as an added perk, have one of the following:

a. Would make the mini-game easier as in less Spacebar Spam.

b. Would cut in half the animation’s duration when your character fails to tame a horse.

-Also remove T1 from wild horse spawns, as well as change the stable keeper t1 Registration items to normal t1 horses. I understand they're probably in place as filler to make higher tiers rarer. But adjust accordingly, these are made up numbers:

T2 - 50%

T3 - 20%

T4 - 15%

T5 - 10%

T6 - 5%

Thank you! <3

Here's a new one:

Change the renting system to be a part of the Horse Market, on a separate tab with name "Rent" (duh.) Where people can see all the horses up for Rent and even choose amount of time they want to rent the respective horse: 5, 10, 24 hrs, a week, etc. The price will adjust accordingly. (Which also need a boost. 100k is a useless amount of money for the investment it takes to raise a good horse.)

Additoinally, T9 should be made available for rent for a higher price. This would be benefitial for both Trainers and non-trainers alike.

Think of all the people who do NW and feel obligated to get a Doom? No more, rent for a few hours one of those bad boys that clutter the horse market.

You wanna go do some desert dailies or have to complete Valencia quest in a new character? With how difficult it is to get Dine materials and the awakening process + getting a course... Rent a Dine for a day, better investment than billions for a horse with a perk that you will hardly use. Win-win.

-For Wapra's daily, let us choose between:

a) Catch x amount of horses. (5 for Guru, 4 for Master, 3 for Art, etc)

b) Do the quest as it is now. (T5 for Guru, T4 for Master, etc.)
