Hello, I believe there should be higher DP brackets beyond the final 401 DP bracket. Players can hit much higher DP numbers than 401. The current final AP brackets are more difficult to reach and provides players striving for AP longer term goals and I wish it would be the same for players striving for DP.
The whole bracket system should be removed, and the stats on gear corrected to have the same effective stats as currently.
It's a pointless mechanism.
IMO one of 2 things should happen.
Either DP brackets extend all the way to 99% damage reduction even if that number is unatainable, OR they should get rid of brackets all together and adjust scaling to compensate.
The thing that is most annoying about the DP bracket (since they exsist) is there is no "BIG JUMP" spot, unlike 261, 265, 269 AP which have big spikes, there is no "target goal" for the last BIG spike then it slows back down for DP.

Explain how Removing DP brackets and a linear DR% progression and balancing the DP/DR without the bracket would "Kill this game in 1 sec?"
If there is linear scaling on the DP instead of Brackets people with less than 150 DP would take less damage, and people with over 410 DP would take less damage than they currently take, however everyone that lies in the current brackets would take exactly the same amount of damage.
Unlike AP that has massive spikes, DP could easily be balanced with no brackets.

I like the first one of extending the brackets since it is something DP players can chase.

The problem with not having brackets is that someone with 290 ap and some with 250ap would do almost the same dmg but the cost difference would be massive. There would be no point in trying to work towards gear progression cause there wouldn't be any. If this happened then a new meta would be created with people just stacking ap crystals and buff because it would be considered sheet ap and not just +all ap
Imagine a player walking around with 280ap with 100b worth of gear and then a player walking around with 260ap 20b worth of gear but he has two +5 ap crystals in mainhand and 2 +5ap crystals in offhand. Now they have same ap. crystals costed him about 100m total.
