People: BDO should stay as it is: a glorified single-player game that has some online elements.
Pearl abyss:
Content dead before arrival, just like Alter of Blood, Savage Rifts, and pit of undying. Only way to make this not dead on arival is to tie some part of progression to it, and not allow players access if they don't do it.
And its will be a complete useless content that will be abandoned in less that 1 week. Cause the gear system dont allow this type of content to be viable.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Why doing a Dungeon with 3-5 people 1 time/week for 40m, when you can make 500m/h average at Castle ruins ? 250-300m orc ? ect...
And if there is any timer / time limit to complete. People are going to do it solo ^^. If their have really a lot of time to waste.
Remember those times you played games for fun and not for making progress for something that helps you make more progress.
This kind of update is very nice for people that dont grind 24/7 and have actually fun with the game and don't complain about everything.

I am much more concerned about the zero IQ heroes who have been mouth breathing that dungeons don't belong IN BDO

Can't wait. People in the community have been asking for dungeons and more group content for a while. While a traditional, instanced, dungeon doesn't fit into BDO's sandbox-y premise, this, IMO, is a step in the right direction. With more PvP modes coming in the near future as well, it looks like BDO is taking on more themepark elements and adding them into this sandbox, but keeping the sandbox aspect of the game the main selling point. Dungeons, PvP modes, etc. as "things to do on the side", personally, hyped for these contents.
My only hope is that, if the dungeons or other things are released, and the community finds things about it that could improve it, that PA won't become tone deaf and tunnel vision on stuff coming out after that. That's been their track record thus far.
Dungeons are instead what bdo was missing :)

You are one of those people who are hellbent on seeing that BDO never changes. It's hilarious to see you pray for something to fail that isn't even out yet. I do enjoy BDO proving your backwards, outdated, irrational thinking wrong every time.
I have seen your negative and regressive outlook on BDO since nearly day one from auto potions, to auto exp, to dungeons. Each time you are proven wrong, you come up with more nonsense. It's always hilarious.

Iv been here awhile..You wont like how PA does dungeons.
They will be P2W peices of garbage to rival Lost ARK.
Renderend into Cash shop items just to avoid having to spam them over an over again to get nothing. They will be purposefully boring garbage content meant to give people an excuse to pay to skip them.
No ones does the PvE content PA puts out now. Untill they change their monitization practices, I wouldent expect much.

I agree. To me, BDO is hands down the best MMORPG out right now with the glaring exception when it comes to group play. Let us face it: group play is what really defines an MMO; it's the key. Without an established group aspect, an MMO is just a single-player online game. Many people avoid BDO simply because there is no fun group element.
I can only hope that pearl abyss learns from the huge mistakes that were done in both Shadow Rift and Altar of Blood. They should make sure that dungeons are totally optional content so no one depends on them and that these dungeons should be fun and rewarding for time spent.
